Is this stealing?

My buddy taught me a trick a long time ago. He even walked out with PlayStation's and XBOX's. He would put it under the cart. This was back when Target had the red shopping carts that made it hard to see the bottom. They don't have those carts anymore though, lol.

If they did see it he'd say he forgot. That works as long as you have the money to pay for the items if they catch you. He did all kinds of scandalous shit like that. He'd also go and take a sticker off a cheap fishing pole and stick it on a Gloomis pole. Then he'd go through a checkout with some young girl that won't know the difference. The dude was rich as fuck too, so I don't get it. I think he did it for the hell of it.

I say if they fuckup, that's on them. I get overcharged sometimes, so I just consider it evening things out.
Never tried electronics but many many diapers and bags of dog/cat food have been "forgotten" under my cart over the years. Knowing that a simple "oops, silly me!" makes all well makes it a no brainer. Diapers are expensive. No longer a problem in my life but I did that for a few years and only said "oopsie!" like twice.

No shit. I couldn't remember what we always were putting down there but that comment made me think, so I just asked my wife. She said it was diapers, lol. That's what I was thinking, but thought I might be confused. I do smoke a lot of weed though, lol. Funny shit.

I remember my wife and I telling a buddy about this and he used to work at a Safeway as a teen. Supposedly diapers were one of the top things stolen. Diapers, formula, razors, and other similar items. It wasn't Liquor, beer, steaks, or anything like that. It was necessities that are expensive. It makes sense but I never really thought about it before he told us that. So, we're far from alone when it come to "forgetting" diapers.

Well I thought, just because Walmart steals from the community doesn't mean its right to steal from them.
It's not right to steal.

If they act as an agent of the State by collecting tax, they are part of the problem though. Give them back the shoes, but take the laces out first. Problem solved. Lol.

Walmart shoe stealing might be considered ‘ok’. 99ft of cable might be closer to the line.. if you go back next time and ask to speak to the manager, and pay for them. Imagine how good you will feel. Maybe the guy would be like ‘just keep them don’t worry’ Me- I wouldn’t go back. But I also would maybe try and do something nice for someone. Maybe give the money to a homeless.
