Ha ha. When your Smeegle imitating self gets over the obsession for shiny things talk to me . In the mean time join the sheep. I hope for an awaking in your psyche. Saddens me to see humanity less than human in intelligence. My best wishes for a less self destructive ego for you

If you have to ask ? You know the answer. Got 5 1/2 gallon mason jars for the price of one yesterday. I stole 4 of them technically. The fact that the store is robbing us and the clerk was a miserable experience at best does not justify it.

I'll be paying for those jars tomorrow. TY. For making me reconsider. I like karma. And I would hope someone corrected my mistake in their favor.
So it took this thread for you to see the light now you're going to pay for them tomorrow?
And a few cents saved is worth the loss of morality?
Says tge guy who stole 4 big ass jars yesterday.

Didnt I see you post a big ol "hunting" rifle over in another thread a few nights back? You sure seemed proud of that shiny thing.

`Happy to share a .177 cal. pellet rifle. For it's functionality. I will always eat. I don't condone guns for most. Educational purposes. Never comes out or up except ground hog and rat control at the farms and an occasional cleaning. Cheap gun. Proud of my knowledge and skill with it. Not it. Big difference.

I'm paying for the jars tomorrow. I'm honest. Can you honestly say that. And I didn't realize until my wife was reading my several hundred dollar receipt for groceries this evening. I had already planned on paying my way prior to the thread.

Wake up. Morality is all that keeps our butts from total chaos.

Hard to except that logic when our so called leader has stolen millions by filing for bankruptcy. How many small mom and pop business people has that guy fucked over? I don't feel bad about giving myself a discount when I'm doing the work for the store I choose to shop from.

I see your point. The issue is people just keep perpetuating bad behavior. That survivor show is a perfect example. All the twisted viewers I know cheered for the biggest cheater. Do you understand? Just because everyone else is doing it doesn't make it right. Man this is a deep dive into things you have yet to even ponder. But you are being brainwashed into corrupt jaded individuals and ferociously defend it. I don't get it.

Just want a better world for my kid. And I was a criminal for too long. I know the game. It is wrong. My associates are all loyal and honest. Beats waiting for Larry to rob me.

No the part about their workers and prices going up for the customer.
I know that losses are calculated for before the item was put on the shelf. Loss & Prevention is always going to be a department in these big box stores and they know it. If too much of one thing keeps getting stolen they'll redirect their prevention side of L&P. Too much of something keeps breaking or rotting, they'll redirect their loss side of L&P. Walking off with produce is no different than it rotting on the shelf as far as their bottom line is concerned. They know this. These Walmarts and Home Depots have a lot more room built into their budget for losses than smaller places.

Stealing from a person or small business is worlds apart from stealing from a retail corporation.

If it's engrained in your moral code or pursuit of good karma, more power to you. I'm just saying I don't have Loss & Prevention on my monthly budget, I doubt most people do. However, they do.

I'll remain as honest as possible. Ill gotten gains are still ill gotten. Wrong and right are obvious. Any blurring just demonstrates ones character. You will find out too late. Morality is genetic whether you acknowledge or not. Maybe instinct or ingrained. But it will eat you sub consciously and in life as you find yourself further isolated from good people by their choice.

Why do people fight the proper thing and people trying to encourage it? I understand. Do you? Cliche or not. We can lead better lives through natural instinct. Not mass produced. Just be civil. Avoid the things you know to be wrong. Be polite and courteous until you had enough. Then walk away. Peace is comfy.

Can you not see why? Do you read your own posts? My fucking word dude you are on a higj horse. Does not mattter what thread you're in, you act as tho we are all treating eachother like assholes. Even the bodhi thread ffs! The most laid back chill thread on riu. There always has to be a last one liner with you, " be good to eachother " or some faux hippy shit. You seem to be the one that is struggling with that.

Btw, suppose the cashier that didnt ring your jars up has made that mistake before? What if YOU get her fired all because YOU wanted to feel good about yourself? Take a seat

I'm a broke d old guy. Because I played the look at me game 60 - 90 hrs/week. It physically broke me. I'm poor because I always gave more than I took. I'm a piece in the process of making my world right. But I do more than I boast. And yet you scream holier than though as my claim. Just offering age old knowledge you and so many others have forgotten in your instant gratification by any means world. Hard work patience and honesty meant something in a better time.

Glad you were allowed to berate me for your own personal insecurities issues. Used to it. Hope you feel better. But it is in your head now. I win in the end.
Peace.

All I know is that anyone who knows a damn thing knows that they know not a damn thing at all.

But also, one has to live with one’s self and the choices one makes. And I know it can be hard to live with ones self if ones conscience is weighing on them.

A mistake is ok, as long as you learn and grow from it. If you find yourself beating yourself up over it 10 years from now, it’s never too late to make it right.
