Is this worth pressing?

Hello people it's been a while I hope all is OK

I found about 2oz of my last crop from 4 months ago in my greenhouse the other day. It had been in there during hot weather (40c in greenhouse some days) and has been in there about 3 months (half of that time in a mason jar, the other half of the time in a zip lock bag)

Is it gonna be worth pressing?? Note the bottom of the buds turning

Gutted that I forgot about it

Press an 1/8th and I find out. I'd normally say youd have no issues, 4 months isn't that long. But the greenhouse temps got a little high and could've dried things imo. Looks like nice bud. You still have options on using that bud up. Not a loss.

I would give it a test run but my press isn't at home at the min. I was just wondering whether the thc would of degraded noticeably. The terps are gone tho it smells of nothing

Edibles might be the way to go. 2 oz would make 2 batches of butter in my house. Terps not needed

Would probably still make pretty decent dry sift, i usually lightly toast mine before tumbling to get the kief to come off.

It should produce some goodness, but the heat will degrade the THC into CBN.
Should make some nappy-time brownies.

I have put it in the freezer this morning n gonna make some dry sift > rosin tomorrow and report back.

Edibles don't work for me not sure why. Maybe something to do with my stomach

When you smoke, it decarbs the THCA(non-psychoactive) that may be present into THC(psychoactive).
Make sure you decarb the sift. THCA needs to convert to THC so your body can use its effects.
