Is watering every day bad???

some of my pots seems to "run off" quicker, or with far less water than others.

too much perlite?

I'm a bit stumped by this.
If the plant has enough water, it can focus on growing.
If its thirsty, then it has to use energy to go look for water.

Why make it work more then it has to?

The plant will balance the root ball to veg naturally. (unless its off looking for water it can't get where its at)

i think this would only be important in the erly stages of veg b4 the roots develop all the way you don't want em at the top of the pot they need to use the whole pot where i see the problem was where someone said to wait for the leaves to start to droop thats just plant cruelty but usually this type of thinking is for outdore gardens where you want the roots to grow deep to search for water so they will be more drought tolerant in the hot dry summer thats my opinion on it

I used 2 litres every second day and was watering 1/2 of a 50 gallon drum .There was no sign of lack of water or to much everything seemed to work out fine . Oh yes and 1/2 a spoon of molasses to 2 litres .

the way it sounds you have a few plants all of different sizes wich would prolly cause that think about it you have a big plant in a smalll pot, lotsa roots to soak up water and hold water from running off where a smaller plant the same size pot may have less rootmass and once the soil is wet it runs right through try and think of it like that whats different about each plant, soil, plant size, just because one plant needs water does not mean they all do check em first that could be a problem too

Yes, you are over watering it, You should only water it every 2-3 days because the roots might still be moist.
