ISO Hash Oil! Worth it?????!!!!!??!!?!

Ok, I got a lil lazy since I harvested a few weeks ago, and yes it happened, my last jar of bud molded. Now, since it is not completely covered with it I am going attempt to salvage about 2oz's by hashing it out with ISO. Now, this is what I need to know, and need to know ONLY so plz dont post unless you have experience here. I know ISO aint the best hash, so I am wondering if any you guys have made ISO oil with some good dank bud, and if it was worth a fuck. Now I know how to make hash oil with alcohol easy. I just want to kinda get an idea of what to expect with this bud because it is alot better than the old bud I use to make iso with. Any comments from people with experience in this area plz comment.
 
Ive used iso and nail varnish remover,both work well,but using a tin of gas is the better way:joint:
 
I've done it with 91% isopropyl alcohol and it works fine.

make sure you shake the weed good with the alcohol, make sure it's about half weed half alcohol, or that the weed is sufficiently covered by alcohol.

then run the alcohol through a coffee filter after letting it sit in the weed for a day.

then let sit in a moderately warm area to evaporate (free of sparks and combustion.)

an alternate thing you can do is before you put it in the alcohol you can soak it in water to get the chlorophyll out of the bud to get purer hash oil.
 
i've used a isopropyl extraction... but i wouldn't call my final product hash oil, but rather cannabis oil. and it looked like the shite you'd put into your car's engine. A drop on a bowl would get u fugged up. But i shoulda not soaked it as long, and only done one soak on the material, then it would have been purer and possible lighter colored.

Next time i will do butane extraction however, as i am really looking forward to Honey Oil !!
 
Reporting in, so after many hours of hard work I used about a quarter of ground bud and 91%iso and got about a gram of the stickiest shit on earth. Turned out very dark almost black, but just a tiny drop on top of a bowl with make ur lungs cave, and followed by a very nice stone. Saving the rest of it to do BHO soon. I know the BHO is gonna be so much better but this shit is fucking awsome. So the lesson learned here is that you can actually come out with a good product using iso. ftw

if you have any moles you're worried about (malignant) or if you get cancer you can use that shit to cure yourself. remember that, if you want to get rid of a mole that's cancerous, put it on a bandaid and wait 4 days. reapply if necessary.

for internal cancers, a small amount on the tip of your finger ingested will do the trick (daily.)

I put some of that on one of my mom's moles and it lost several layers and totally changed color, from black and rough to tan and smooth. so it's basically proven to me but if you make hash oil you might as well try it for yourself.

What was your exact method? I have a few moles I would like to get rid of.
 
for making iso hash oil? I got about 2-3 oz of shake, with 2 bottles (you can use more if you want) of 91% isopropyl alcohol. one mason jar (pickle jar) shake a lot and let it sit for a while (a day or so.)

after that you slowly pore the liquid out into a coffee filter (you need something to hold the filter like a funnel, I'm sure you will be able to figure this out.) it will be slow and it will drip slowly but it will filter it a lot and it is very good to do this.

I suggest you let it drip out into a pyrex glass dish (like a glass cooking dish) and you can optionally put plastic over it with over 100 holes to protect it from flying particles such as dust (if you have carpet like my house you'll want to do this.) if your house is clean then you have nothing to worry about.

keep it in a hot space or somewhere warm and let it evaporate (make sure there is NO exposed flame or anywhere it will ignite.)

you should be left with a thick brown liquid on the bottom, scrape this with a razor blade and store in a glass bottle of some sort.

for moles put a good dab of it on a bandaid and put on the mole for 4 days.

And that is it? I'll give it a try. I thought it was more complicated.

I saw a guy that used a rice cooker to expedite the evaporation process.

yeah it's fairly simple. all you want to do is separate the alcohol from the THC without burning up the thc. you can use something like a rice cooker as long as it keeps a very low temp and you have a lot of ventilation. all it really takes is a warm spot for a few days and it works fairly well.

I'm sure you'll find something that works for you. it's not as hard as it sounds.

I have some moles that I would like to treat and I wouldnt mind giving some to my parents for some preventitive cancer treatment (stop it before it starts). My father in law just died of cancer and I cant imagine seeing my parents suffer like that.
 
you can use a 'double boiler' to get rid of the iso and water faster ... put one pan inside the water of another pan with something to keep the bottom of the top one from resting on the bottom pan.
