I've searched EVERYWHERE! Please help me!!!

Hey guys... I am currently growing 2 plants:

I got the technaflora Recipe for Success kit, and I can't figure out the Pre-Harvest Nutrient stage.

Now I KNOW I'm a little DEE DEE DEE sometimes... but correct me if I'm wrong here.. or at least point me in the right direction..

"During the final 7 days of flowering apply the following feeding program. This will increase the firmness and the potency of flavour by enhancing the production of essential oils.

First 3 days apply the following PRE HARVEST formula.
Final 4 days flush with pH adjusted water.

Mix the following nutrients into 4 liters (1 gallon) of water to create the PRE-HARVEST formula.
MagiCal
–
2.5 ml (½ tsp)
SugarDaddy
–
40 ml (8 tsp)

For soil/soil less mediums, use the formula in the sequence of FEED, WATER, WATER, FEED. "Now... *MY* question is this:

If i'm using soil... and am supposed to start the Pre-Harvest nutes 7 days before harvest... do I do this:

Day 1 - FEED
Day 2
Day 3
Day 4 - Flush
Day 5
Day 6
Day 7
Or would I do this:

Day 1 - FEED
Day 2 - water
Day 3 - water
Day 4 - FEED
Day 5 - Flush
Day 6 - Flush
Day 7 - Flush


?? cuz the second way would seem like a WHOLE LOT of water getting in there.. and the first day would be one feeding.. so I'm sort of at a loss here... If it's the first way.. I'll cut the mix into 4... and only use one liter between both plants.

Thoughts??

day1 -water, then water it again when it needs it....... why you trying to make it complicated. nothing but water the last 10 days and all will be fine... firmness potency and flavor are already determined. If you did your job the buds will be firm potent and tasty no magic about it

Perfect... and I get that.. and I'm using the formula... but what I'm asking for is clarification of the last step...

and the chart in my posting up there reads:

Then your advice doesn't really help me at all... Are you saying I should just not do the last stage then as the instructions in my first posting state?

you can do whatever you want, watering everyday is not the answer and if you want to follow some feeding schedual than feel free they love your money. that stuff is not necessary to produce firm tasty buds.

I am sorry if I come off as a dick. all you really need is the grow the bloom and the MagCal. you feed grow in veg then bloom in flower and every other feeding in flower use hals strength grow with full strength calmag and just stop feeding then last 10 days using just water and that ought to get you some tasty firm dank nuggets. all the other stuff is just so technaflora.inc can lign their pockets. feeding sugars is good now and then but not really needed. when they say feed,water,water,feed they mean when it is time not every day so it looks like they just want you to feed then after 3 days flush. that late in the game it really doesn't mater though

There is no schedule when feeding and watering. Every strain is different. Some intake more nutes, some less. Learn to read your plants. Pick up the pots to feel how much moister is in the soil before watering.

I personally dont feed unless I start to see a small deficiency. That way I can see what exactly they need and can adjust then feedings to give them everything they need.

Over feeding and over watering can be just as bad as under.

Perfect.. and all good buddy.. I understand the frustration of the corproate machine taking our money... the shit came with the 'starter' kit.. so I figured I'd use it.. BUT who knows.. I may not.. or if I do. I'll give it one ZAP of the shit... and then flush/water normally... and harvest.

did some editing in the last post not sure if you saw it but basically it looks like they want you to feed then in 3 days flush it out not feed efor 3 then flush fer 4 in a row, but that late it would probably not hurt anything if you did drown it for a week.

Oh.. lol that's to everyone that took the time to post BTW... Thanks guys...

I've got some pennies. I'm giving my two cents!

Firstly, a small amount of nutes will help to flush, so when you start your last stage, make sure its slightly nuted water~! Also, I find that during the last week before I plan to harvest, I water every day to increase the plumpness of my buds. I live in an arid part of the rockies, so drying too quickly is a major problem for me. Also, don't worry about overwatering, as long as you have good drainage in your pots.

And another tip, you can try or not as you'd like, but I have had great results. First, turn your timer up to 13 on and 11 off for the last month. It won't go back to vegging and if you're results are like mine, you can reap another 10% from your harvest. Also, the last 48 hours I turn my lights on for a full 24 hours and then off for a full 24 hours and then cut, trim and hang. I read about this trick first here, at RIU.org, but have since talked to a few growers where i live that do one or both of these tricks. The plumpness and stickiness is incredible, its almost like they want to drip off the plant! Good luck and hope i helped!

the whole point off flushing is to get rid any extra nutes and salt, to give a smooth smoke , i love the smell of nutes and salts in the morning...NOT....i read if you put your plants in total darkness and no water for last 48 hours you will squeeze every last bit of energy from the plant into the buds,,,you may want to ask a pro about that one
