DOWN SHE GOES! I chopped down one of the two ladies. The indica pheno was ready and I gave her the axe after seeing many brown hairs and looking through my 30x scope. Lots of amber and cloudy. I took her down 2 days ago at 9 weeks flat. The Sativa pheno still has a week at least or more to go as only the tips of the pistils have turned brown. She was a heavy one and couldn't stand on her own cuz of some fat nugs shes got.

The drying product:
I am drying my buds in paper bags. Yes I chopped trimmed and then straight into bags. I have no space to dry in that I will be able to control the smell. What I did was separate out my buds into 2 paper bags, laid them on their sides broad side down and put buds on the bottom, just 1 layer spacing out the buds. They are drying slower than if they were hung outside as I am experimenting and the one hanging outside is drying quicker. Im watching the buds for mold and I air the bags out 2 times a day. So far so good and the drying is going smoothly and slowly. These bags are then placed in the space above my hood sitting 1 foot above my hood atop plastic containers that keep the buds for directly contacting the heat of the light.
The Sativa one is looking might heavy too, I think it will yeild more than the indica, prolly because she was about 2-3 inches taller at the time of flowering. When she goes down that will be the next update. Im currently flushing her for the next week or so, for the indica I only flushed for 3.5 days.
