JackBerry Grow

I decided today was the last day I was going to cut off any lower branches.. it made me sick, I dont think i could do it again. In fact Im going to try my hardest not to cut any more foliage off at all. theres 2400 watts there for 6 plants... so 400 watts for each plant when it comes down to it. That seems like a lot of watts per plant to me, and I don't want any of it to be wasted.

I know a guy who pulled close to a lb with a 400watt in a 3x3 cabinet with a scrog setup. 2 plants though.. hopefully my long veg will make up for it. im kind of worried that they wont stretch anymore at all since im seeing some crazy pistil growth/flower formation... and if that happens i probably just fucked myself by cutting off the lower 20-30% of the plants.. i am thinking I will need every branch available to hit a gram per watt.

Realistically I am shooting for 500 grams a bulb.. that would be really great. In reality I will probably harvest only 350 per bulb. next time I bet I can get 400-450, and perhaps on the third go round (with this strain) I can achieve 500-550.

Some of them are looking like they are about ready to receive bloom nutrients at a slightly higher ppm, I have had them on transition nutrients for the past 10 days, but tomorrow morning they are getting the sauce.

All the purple are the KF7's, the JackBerry still show no signs of color.

all of the clones I took ten days ago have died. i am now trying the water cup cloning method.
I took three clones from the phenotype I like the best of the JackBerry, and one clone from the pungent KF7. They are all sitting in cups of water (250ppm) with aluminum foil covering the tops. Ill take some pictures later tonight and put them up. apparently no misting is required with this method, and neither is cloning gel/powder.

Cheese Dog sounds nice.. always wanted to get some cheese. The cheese i've smoked didnt smell overly potent, but was covered in sugar, and smoked great. Again the taste wasn't anything phenomenal, but it wasnt bad either, and the potency was up there. Cheese nugs always look really solid and bulky to me too.. which I love. always thought itd be a great crop to try.

I think Im going to stick with the water cup cloning method, they all look great so far. Even the large KF7 clone I took looks good, and I know for a fact when I cut that one, that the water line broke in the stalk, because I watched it suck up into the stem... pretty crazy. Anyways I went ahead and threw it in a cup too because I really think I might go with the KF7 for my next batch. They are filling out so nicely.. and smell so friggin sweet.. ahhh, and the colors!

The purple flowers are all from the smaller KF7 - I say smaller because it was smaller in veg, and was the slowest to sprout initially, but totally glad I didnt give up on her as she has now gotten at least the same size as the other KF7.

None of the JackBerries show color on the flowers yet, but there are some purple stemmed phenos that I think will pop in a few weeks.
At this point the JackBerry is done stretching by my estimates, and the KF7 might keep crawling around for a week more, but not much longer.

They have all still been below 600ppm, but I am starting to think that they need a little push. Do yall think they look hungry? I think so.. but its hard to tell as tip burn is present on most of the leaves now. Still.. at the bud sites they do look a little yellow.

The girls are responding favorably to the increase in nutrients, so I will give them another 50 ppm bump tomorrow and then let them coast for a week and reassess

awesome job man, ladies looking sexy as they continue to bloom! those jackberry look so nice with the purple. I had to throw out my 3 clones all of them died. I went out to my local hydro store and bought some root enhancer so i'm going to mix that with my RO water and soak my cubes. I'm hoping this works.

Thanks y'all. The kf7 Chinese is the only one showing color right now though. I'm praying for the Jackberry to purp up, or blue would be nice..

dude, I swear the water cup method is soo easy, and it works. I never wanted to try it because it sounded too simple, and I thought that it would take longer, but I have good roots already, and am planning to get my mother DWC setup now since I have found the clone i want to use. give it a shot if the cubes dont work out this time.

Still no color from the JackBerry. The George Bush pheno exhibits the most BlueBerry influence, and has developed super hard buds that are sweet and sticky, and yes, berry-ish.
One of the other JackBerry has developed a sweet lemon diesel smell (Sannies Jack influence) also with solid buds , while the other is strong earth and skunk smell, very little lemon odor, with less dense flowers.

The KF7 Chinese girls are looking good, I really love "der Wunderplant" pheno, the purple is beautiful and at night the pistils look like they're glowing yellow against the dark purple. *Smells like the Flinstones Multi-vitamin chewable tablets that kids take. (in other words, delicious) They were originally spicy smelling, which I wasnt too ecstatic about, but like i say, have developed more fruity odors. The buds are Christmas Tree like in shape, are already getting very dense for a sativa this early in flower, and look like they might foxtail out due to how solid they look at the moment. But who knows... The other KF7 Chinese girl is very unimpressive, large, but the buds are not as solid or colored. Still, she will give me a great yield i imagine.
