Have I asked you what you consider 'mainstream media' and what you consider a reliable source that you got all this information from that you decided to post here? If not, I would be really curious the answer to them.

I dont understand your 'know' they voted for president comment. I know who I voted for, but I have not looked at who every single person voted for. That is why they have ballots and shit to count. And they counted that my vote was one of the over 81 million Americans that voted for Biden.

What it shows is that social media when combined with Television and radio is a very large vulnerability to our political process. And all the laws that the Republicans have used over the last handful of decades to maintain power being hijacked by the Russian military who was using the tools that Edward Snowden stole from the NSA and then smuggled to Putin with the help of Assange.

Former acting Secretary of Defense Chris Miller is placing blame on former President Donald Trump for the Capitol riot, arguing that without him, it's "pretty much definitive" that it wouldn't have occurred.

Miller, who served under Trump and was in office on the day of the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol, spoke with Vice about the former president's actions surrounding the riot. When asked if Trump is responsible, Miller pointed to the former president's speech prior to the riot, arguing it clearly led to the violent attack.

"The question is, would anybody have marched on the Capitol and overrun the Capitol without the president's speech?" Miller asked. "I think it's pretty much definitive that wouldn't have happened."

Miller added, however, that he isn't sure whether Trump knew that he was "enraging the crowd" to riot at the Capitol when he delivered this speech in Washington, D.C.

Trump during his address prior to the riot urged supporters to march down to the Capitol and "show strength." He was ultimately impeached a second time, but acquitted by the Senate, for "incitement of insurrection" for his actions, which were condemned by numerous officials who have served under him. Former Defense Secretary James Mattis, for example, also blamed Trump for the riot, saying on Jan. 6, "Today's violent assault on our Capitol, an effort to subjugate American democracy by mob rule, was fomented by Mr. Trump."

Time for Merrick to bring back a few thousand recently retired FBI agents and prosecutors for a couple of years to handle the temporary overload. There would be many eager to pad their pensions and get a piece of these assholes, so only bring back the best. It's not like there wouldn't be anything for them to do!

It's the calm before the storm, they will plead out those who just stood around outside looking stupid, but others might not fare so well, especially those inside the building. Merrick Garland just took over at the DOJ and he has some house cleaning to do along with nailing these assholes. There will be a congressional commission that will go into a lot of depth and they might even hand the whole insurrection off to a special prosecutor with a broad mandate. I figure they should appoint some former republican patriot, who worshipped at the alter of the DOJ and is real pissed, a real fucking fire breathing old fashioned republican who wants some Trumper ass! Someone who was disgusted with the republican party, left and wrote nasty letters and signed petitions about Trump and Barr, an old DOJ alumni and true believer.
