Jar Question

Hey all had a question, I've been useing Mason jars for storage and all is well except they are small and top opening is to narrow for my fat hand. I found these at walmart, $ 7.95 taller and much wider top opening. they seem to have a good seal, but they're plastic. has anyone used these?? pro's and con's appreciated...

walmart has glass jars of various sizes, plastic not reccomended

Best to use glass. Ppl claim when you store in plastic something seeps out the plastic like a chemical or something altering taste and smell.

Were you using the regular Ball jars?...if so try wide mouth.

Wide mouth jars are wonderful, look for them. Not hard to find and so much easier to get your hand in it.

they only have widemouth at my target.
But Im getting tired of jars. I just stick that shit in a plastic tupperware. So much easier to put in and take out. Personally not scared of losing 7 trichs due to static in the plastic. I like the smell of china. reminds me of walmart. im going to start calling it wally world weed.
seriously though. Maybe if you buy the dollar store tupperware it smells but the good stuff is fine. my weed still smells like weed.

I really wonder if the plastic is really all that bad. I think the smell, taste issues might be all hype. Yeah I know glass is preferred but I'd bet the vast majority of people would not be able to tell the difference if asked. I've used both glass and plastic and could not tell. But then again I also used to smoke wet mexican brick weed that smelled like old soggy socks out of aluminum foil pipe.

plastic can become electrostatically charged and pull trics off of your nugs, which is why people hate it, and you cant scrap the shit off because youll get plastic in there, and you can't smoke it.
at least a glass jar you could boil it in water and butter and extract the thc

reminds me of that commercial with the last few pringles left in the can that the guy can't reach
