Javadog's Next Adventure

Sorry Bro, I am not a Sativa Expert.

I wanted to share some shots of the first Green Dog / Dog Crack
female that I have brought to flower.

I think that she came out really nice, considering that she is mite ridden.

She has great genes. I will let you know about the smoke.

Take care.

BTW: I had had enough and have pulled all plants from the tent.

The youngest got only eight weeks, but so be it.

I have started to spray it out. I want to fire off the bug bomb,
but also am not interested (or really able) to move my large smoke
collection out of the cave at this time.

I am going to begin to confirm a few plants to start flowering.

Even seeing some mites at my outside grow spot.
I a gonna rally nuke them though.
I will use Floromite and Forbid F4 or whatever I find to make sure I have a successful outdoor crop this yr!!

My cut of Clementine might be less sativa than I wanted , but smell/taste are great and the high is nice stoney and relaxing, but doesnt make me fall asleep.

Oh that is good, if it doesn't make you sleepy, then it can be useful
I do feel lazier than I would like though.
Clones from the Dispensaries seem to be the Indica dom phenos more often than not IME.
I am going to buy more fem seeds.
That will serve 2 purposes.
First I dont have space to sex them, and I know they wont be the source of future mites, but I just bought Floramite.
I hate to do it but I need mite free healthy buds.
My yield this run was only half of the previous from mite damage and pulling several weeks early.

I know the burn of the bug-driven low-yield. :^/

I have sprayed the tent, twice, and am about to pull
out the liner for cleaning.

I understand and agree about seed to avoid mites.

Some baddies can travel with seeds, but not from good sources.

Good luck!

JD
I am buying a few different pesticides, some of which are for outdoor to kill pests before they get close to my house.
I am buying 36.8% permethrin ,Floramite, and Forbid 4F.
I already have neem and Azamax

bassman999

Those are good. I jumped on Fertilome Triple Action III Plus after OldMan (IIRC) suggested it.

That is the pyrithrins added to neem.

That line up must work! ;0)
If that doesnt work I will quit growing!

Can I spray Floramite and or Forbid at the initiation of flowering on 9 week strains without poisoning myself?

The Triple Action Plus was recommended to me by a very good grower (COF) on here as well

Yeah, LOL. it was COF, wasn't it? :0)

As to that date, I am not sure, but this is a great question.

Floramite is not systemic....and the buds are not even there yet....
...so I think that you might be OK....but I would still like to know the
breakdown time of the active ingredient.

For example, the neonicotinic, which a somewhat controversial
because it might remain in pollen an bother bees (which will not
be a problem for you) is used by some because it fully breaks down
in less time than weed flowers.

God luck!

I sprayed Forbid F4 on my 3 outdoor girls one of which has it flowers starting, and the Florimite will be here in a few days.
Ill spray that as well maybe and then the pyrithrins (spelling)
Seems like a lot, but have read a good rotation is necessary.

I did see some mite damage on the bottom of the one outdoor plant already.

My friend said I looked like a guy that should be a chemical spill doing the clean up.
I was wearing full zip up suit and respirator lol

I have sprayed the tent, over several days and have these plants
fully bug-killer-loaded....soaked to the point where branches were
falling.

IMG_5495.JPG
I hate what HPS does to them....they are not that yellow. :0)

This is going to be a nice line up as I am rerunning a couple that were nice before.

I decided to go with a 4X4 array of my small baskets. I still have a few slots to
fill but I am bushed and going to crash in the next hour. Work work work. :0)

So far:

DPQ
Reserva Privada OG Kush
Cotton Candy
Capt Kong
Green Dog #2
Panama (Ace Seeds)
Reserva Privada Tangie
Cali Connection Buddha Tahoe OG
HSO OG Kush
HSO Sour Diesel #2
DNA 24K
Sour Tangie
LA Affie
Blueberry Gum

Take care,

JD

P.S. Oh yeah, and in three days, I hit them with Floramite + Azamax.
No eggs No bugs!

I have some Azamax around here somewhere as well.
Hopefully these pesticides we are using arent going to weaken the plants any.

You have some great genetics there as always JD!!

Locally there are Sour Tangie clones available and I was tempted, but refrained.
I like the Clementine (Tangie cross) and Sour Diesel so I know it will be a winner as well.

Just ordered some Sex Bud seeds from Female seeds, and I am going to order some Fire99 from RCMC soon as well.
I needed some fems since all I have is regs and no time/space to hunt and sex them

Fems are so f'ing easy...lol...I like them too.

Tangie is a wonder to cross with...and so is Kosher Kush.

That is why DNA named that Kosher Tangie "24K" I have
three Tangies up there. ....and Tangilope, from DNA, that I grew
out last cycle, was tastier than all three and that is saying something. :0)

Fire99 sounds intriguing.

Did I already ask....where did the Clementine come from?

Seedfinder shows it as a "Legendary Cross" of two Aghani breeds.

Fire99 is just like it sounds Fire OG x C99 (Bros grimm F3) http://www.rcmcollective.ca/breeders/highrise-fem/fire99.html
Supposed to be mostly c99 dom phenos, but all are great according to member on RIU.

I got Clementine as clones from a local dispensary who sourced it from Midnight farms http://www.midnightfarmsclones.com/product/clementine/,
but seeds can be had from http://www.thedankteam.com/the-dank-team/crockett-farms/
or
https://www.seedsherenow.com/crockett-family-farms-clementine.html

Ah, it is a Crocket Farms Product. OK. Thanks!

Let us know how the Fire99 comes out.

I actually specifically purchased a nice C99 bean to pop, and got
another from a different source....but no room to pop.

Things should be loosening up soon.

JD

P.S. I checked The Dank Team and Crocket has a lot of really cool sounding crosses.

They Clementine has a great taste, even though I seem to have a 60/40 indica leaning hybrid.

I hate that there are so many strains I want and so little space

Same problem. Really it is really hard to kill every mite when you are
running 100 breeds. I am down to 50 and will drop to 200 or less before
I am done.

BTW I just peeked again at the Crockets page at The Dank Team and
they have a slew of Tangie crosses at the top, including Clementine
that are all amazing looking. $100 for a 10 pack but I might get that
Banana anyway. :0) We will see.

OK, so I check my Floramite which is slated for the follow up treatment
and I see "4-8 Oz per 100G gals"

What what what....that is like nothing...I am mixing in a quart sprayer....OK.
I am bringing up the big sprayer...ho boy the ladies will be drenched!

That at least takes a gallon so I can use like a 1/4 teaspoon, from what
I read online.

Take care,

JD

I used .5 ml to 1.25 gal water yday with the Forbid.
I am sure it was slightly under strength though.
Was wondering the conversion with the Florimite, but I think the vile will come with a slip of paper and a segmented dropped
