So, I’ve dived in head first. I’ve started with 3 seeds of 2 strains (white widow and Alaskan purp - both seedsman fem).

Growing in Rockwool, using an all LED setup. Veg+bloom nutes.

Well, I f’d up and dropped a new fan on one of my plants, which broke the top 3 inches completely off. I tried to repair but did not do a good job. But, the rest of my plants seem to be doing pretty well. What’s everyone else think?

This is from after trimming them down again.

Been a while since I posted anything here. I took some clippings from these ladies back on 2/21, just so I could learn/practice on these free seeds before I pop my expensive ones. Here are the clones today.image.jpg

And here are the donors (original “mothers” from seed). Got my drip system (diy) in place this week and under the new light (mammoth lighting 10 bar LED) a week ago!

I’ve been seeing a very slow development of what appears to be a calmag and nitrogen deficiency? Leafs (all) on 1 plant are very light green with darker stems. Now, it’s started to spread to the otherI did some research and think I’ve found the problem, but will call my hydro guy tomorrow.

what I believe is happening:
Veg+bloom RO/soft water nutrients are formulated assuming a PPM of 150 (so, not RO)... I’m using RO. SO, there isn’t enough of either calcium, magnesium, or nitrogen in the mix so I added calmag to my rotation. Even then it didn’t seem to help. Found This perfect doc (love rqs site) and it gives a breakdown of what PPM is ideal for each phase of growth. Checked my PPM and it was sitting around 800 and should have been 1050(ish). So, I added some Stackswell (family of products with veg+bloom from hydroponics research) and got it up to 1063. We’ll see how they look tomorrow. I hope they green up, don’t want to lose another plant.

Other than that, buds are forming and getting frosty!!!

Well, I had herm last week so had to pull it. Down to 4 in flower now with 2 WW close to ready (several amber trichs) and 2 AP that are a couple weeks out.13B07195-3316-4CE5-B898-7DB6CF87EABC.jpeg

I just went with another Vivisun. I’ve got ppl who only use gorilla, but they seem identical and I’ve had good luck with them (knock on wood). Got a 4x8 less than 200.00
What do you have coming?

I run a Vivosun 4x4 for veg with 600w se mh, and the 4x8 Vivosun with 2.6kW se hps atm.

I have the 4x8 Gorilla otw..
