Jillybean Height Indoors

Hello all,

I read about 20 Jilly threads and couldn't find an answer, so here I am.

I was wondering the average height of Jillybean. Sub, you label it as a "short bush" type. I don't think I would exactly disagree - but I think mine is more of a medium - tall bush. It's over 4ft base to top, 23 days into flower. It was vegged for 2 months. It's in soil, no Co2 enrichment, etc.

The plant came from seed. 4 seeds, three male and this giant female.

Is 4ft' and still growing normal for these conditions?

Thanks.

I am having some fun with 2 jilly bean ladies. They were pick and mix from the attitude, and the stems already smell sweet and candy like. only problem is they have shot up almost 3 foot from being switched to 12/12 almost 3 weeks ago. Iv had bend over at least 5-6 tops on each one, and there still really wild looking. its bothering me because I normally manage my canopy between a couple strains really well, but not this time lol:joint:

maybe it was the fresh super soil in 10 gallon containers that have worked so "well", the node distance is up to 5 inches on some of the branches though. next time Ill train the clones accordingly in veg and probably get a trellis in there.

Exactly. Same thing!

I had a perfect ~2' BUSH and I transplanted to a 5 gallon smart pot for a few days before flower. Then all of a sudden, flower it's gone wild - stretched more than I've ever seen and the internodal spacing is extreme. My canopy is ruined as well. I mean if the buds fill in all the way around I am going to be so happy but I'm not sure if it will.

Whats the verdict? Is this height and growth normal or do Intensive and I have some new giant Jilly seeds. Mine are recently from Attitude as well.

Thanks brother!!

Good looking on the information. I may grow my clones out a little smaller this time and see where it gets me so I can find the perfect height for my space. I had to cut another monster way early because the two of them together ate all the light from the 5 total. Now everyone is happy, except me, because I'm smoking on straw. You mention the lovely colors... I JUST finished my basement room, so she's out of the hot closet and into the cool calm basement - I'm excited to see color for the first time from my flowers.

Hey Bud,

I saw a few photos of the new grow room looks like plenty of space to work with; nice job! Here is part one of four Jilly Bean videos. I think it's number two where he mentions the different phenos. I read the description on the TGA website and it does indicate a short stature. http://www.youtube.com/user/subcool420?feature=g-user-u#p/u/166/aWA02np8AlU

My Jilly beans stretched about 6 inches at flowering, in soil I finished at a height just under 4ft. You can control the height with the size pot you use, but that is not advised!
