Jock Horror review.......

Sorry bout my last thread. I have no clue what happen. Ok to the review and smoke report

I vegged for 35 days and flowered for 55 days. Yields were acceptable and this plant was not topped. First thing i noticed about this plant was the smell. Very Skunky with a hint of Mango? The leafs even shine with trichs and once budding begins the smell increases.

I haven't had a chance to smoke the finally cured product but from what i smoked this is not for the faint of heart. One bong rip and i was soaring like a bird. This is very potent sativa. Almost too potent. The smoke was a bit harsh but that's from not curing properly. It had a deep skunky smell and every now and then i would smell mangos/oranges I can't wait for the properly cured herb

The high hits you hard and but does not give you couch-lock. I'll find myself doing yardwork and talking to bill collectors on Jock Horror. This is a fun and relaxing sativa and it goes a really long way. But like i said before it's very potent and not that hard to grow. All in all give it a try before you curl up and die.

Lighting used. 4 T-12 flouros at 3500k- 4 26 watt 3000k Cfl's.

Soil used- Ferts. Miracle Gro Soil - Miracle Gro plant food - Perlite.

Oh and one small fan.

sounds great man, my buddy is growing some at the moment 3 weeks into flowering,, any pics?

im got 1 in veg n 1 in flower i cant wait til ther ready

I was thinking on starting some Jock Horror. I've read that it is a sativa and that it takes 10-12 weeks to flower. Nice to hear that yours only took about 8 weeks..Enjoy

And yes i should have let it go longer in flowering but im very impatient. That's a bad thing i guess. All in all im pleased with the end results.

thanks for the review, my jock are on the way wit my blue mystic, plan is to cross the two and do a little stabilizing of the strain if it turns out worth while. Cant wait for that project

how many weeks too soon did you chop it down, do you think it affected the high? Maybe not as potent but more energetic that way?????

I think i cut it right at 8 weeks. I'll have to check my grow log. All in all i would say give this the chop at week 10.

Thanks for the review, very reassuring. Our grows sound similar, mine is currently in week 2 of vegging.
I'm growing:
4 Jock Horror with
4 T8 32 watt 6500k for veg, for flowering it will be 2 3000k and 2 6500k
& 2 42 Watt CFL 2700k when flowering.

i'm hoping for two females, how many did you grow with you lights?

edit: i'm also vegging 3 early special right now that will go out side in a few weeks.

I grew 2 Jock Horrors. The other turned out male That's odd. I have Early Special going outside this year too Small world after all.

jock horror is desinged to finish a bit faster than original jack herer my 3 jock horrors look like they have more indica than original jack herer. im making crosses w white.w and hashberry i will post some pics. im at almost 4 weeks flower

Jock I did was a long Thai like flowering variety.(Grown O Haze faster) they seemed to like the higher light output 70+w pr sq ft
The smoke wasn't to good either, not something I would want to do again.
With this sorta variety spending for the real deal does make sense
Super Silver Haze or Jack herer cant be copied with success ,
