Germination rate: 100% (Out of 18 seeds.. killed 2 myself of weak genetics :)

Sativa/Indica ratio (educated guess): (12 out of 16 plants looks Indica dominates..)

Growing media: $12 for 40Lbs Miracle Grow soil, $3 for 20pack 16oz cup (both sold at walmart)

Lights: New waves 2ft" 4 lamps (96watts) for $160 (shipping included :) http://www.plantlightinghydroponics.com/new-wave-96w-6500k-2ft4-lamp-t5-fluorescent-grow-light-p-1934.html [Note: Highly recommended buying a 4 foot long if your budget is not tight..]

Fan: Optimus Ultra Slim Tower Fan $29.. free shipping if pickup at store (Makes a little rotation noise but super quiet if you don't use rotation) (http://www.walmart.com/ip/Optimus-Desktop-Ultra-Slim-Tower-Fan-With-LED-Display/11250080)

Total invested: $255

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Here's how the plants are being grown...

Grow Plans: This will be an OUTDOOR grow, I'm giving them a 1.5-2 months indoor head start for greater chance of survival in the wild.. my location is about 44 Northern hemisphere, same as NY or MA) and will transplant them outdoor May 1st-7th.

Germination: Started on March 1st (soaked 2 bounty towel, put all seeds between the sheets and hidden them in a dark/warm closet.. all sprouted on March 4th then transplant them into 16oz cups.

Lighting Schedule: All plants are under constant 24/7 lighting environment.

Growth Pattern: Plants seems to be growing at a rate of 2-3 inches per week (7 weeks X 2.5 inches = 16 inches tall before going outdoors), also the lights are placed 2-3 inches away from plants.

Watering: I water them every 2-3 days, I don't add ANY nutes or fertilizer...

Odor: The plants being giving odors about 1.5-2 weeks of their growth stage.. I liked the smell but not so with parents ^_^

-----------------------------------------------

From the rest onwards I'll give a couple of weekly updated pictures along with a short description what the update is about.... note tho, once they're outdoors I'll limits the update every month or 3 weeks apart as visiting the grow spots too often will provoke suspicious so just lay back and enjoy every updates I can provide :)

Here's a some shots right after germination.. aren't they cute :)

Sounds good.

Id try an get the light closer to the lil ones, they are kinda streatching...
You may have to brace em up with a stick if they get much taller.

Good luck grower..

...I'm currently waiting on their black widow seeds to come out, when they do I'm struggling with an issue of how many to plant at once LOL...

Good luck with the Walkabout did a pack last year. I ended up with 1 indica dom and the rest leaning heavy on the sativa side. For the price I picked up another pack for this year.

I can see this is not your first walk in the park. Scarhole mentioned stretching, competitive growth could be the cause. I have had seedlings stretch due to proximity of other seedlings. talk about sibling rivalry.

Best of luck to you, gonna tune in on this one.

I went kind of prejudice. I went with all Mr Nice gear this year. You can't beat the price and with 2 packs of seeds I ended up with over 40 seeds. Order directly from Shanti. The only thing about the WB is it is mostly sativas and they where finishing pretty late for my area. The Dreamtime that he sells is a mix pack of indicas might try that next year.

Or could (order Dreamtime) and outgrow a batch of that & Walkabout.. save the other WB for next year's harvest :]

I am going to put a couple in my veg. garden and force flower them as soon as they get a couple nodes on them. Got Early Skunk going to try for this year. They say it's a reliable plant for outdoors.

Sounds like you've got everything all figured it out.. anything "Skunk" is a hardcore survival ^^

I like how mine's turning out.. I rub the stems.. it gives a delicious fruity smells on my fingertips :] I'm sure the buds will smells a 100x more powerful than that o_O

Earlier today while watering I took some sexy pics of the plants, enjoy :]

1 - Most beautiful of em all
2 - 4 biggest in closet
3 - fimmed 4 days ago
4 - 95 degree flex :]

Anyhow, I was thinking setting 12/12 to pre-flower then revert back to veg and start taking clones.. thinks it's a good idea??
