i just thought of a way to keep money if you ever get raided


invest in gold and a safety deposit box

he is talking about being raided????? I wold be worried more about why i was raided than about gold.
if you talking about when the world government goes to NOW or collapse....dont think gold will be worth anything.............I see the barter system in place and ppl would want food water....medicine and things like that way before gold....cant eat gold or silver or money.....trade a pack of cigs for couple days food or something along that order................guns to trade ammo for the guns.........you would be high on the totem pole if you stashed weapons for barter..................uhm pot will be for relaxing not really high on the list I would say mid ways on the list.........good water and food and medicine and weapons would be the top of the list I would thing...........course this is just my opinion.............I got raided yesterday so I have to start over........

Haha. This is how it works.


1st- Chaos (stealing)

2nd- Trade (bartering)

3rd- Commodity (currencies)


First people will just steal what you have if they want it. Then people will go back to haggling if they want something from you. Then the age old flaws in bartering will give way to a system similar to the gold standard I'm sure. The evolution of economics all over again. :)
