1) after how long do you reckon it will start showing hairs?
2)any tips would be much appreciated
3)and what do you reckon my yield could be?
1) impossible for me to tell. no strain info, no atmosphere, feeding, substrate, air flow, temps....its a guess, better if you guess it not me.
2) read words, ignore forums http://catnews.org/FREE Pot Books/
3) It could be about a pound of course. But when you get mold because your humidity is whacked yield will diminish.
when you let your grower buddy in to spread some mites....you might lose the whole crop. When you dont follow directions on your feeding chart you will lock these up, whack the ph, and stop development. While you're overwatering thinking to make it grow faster your substrate will suffocate and kill beneficial organisms and fungus, rotting your roots, diminishing yields also. When you see your first issue you'll no doubt choose to follow the advice of many here, like add cal mag, or start training, or spray something, or use a bud stacker or add some PK or change your light schedule to 14 hours of darkness....and they may fail. If you vegged for 5 months and provided every needed seriously though, you could potentially yield 8 ounces per plant, but c'mon now....be real. you cannot supply its needs correctly for that long right? Without proper controls failures result.

so you see, its a fantasy asking others how many apples you think will be on this tree when it grows up,(..... if its fed right, if the sun shines all day, if nobody breaks it, if mold doesnt get it, if bugs dont get it, if you dont tip it over, if you dont poison it.........)

they have been alive for 1 month now, except for the shining silver haze that has been on for 1 month and 2 weeks
should i have let them veg for abit longer? that was my only concern, havent had any pesticide so far, and i have some neem oil incase..
my only hope is to pull out atleast 200 grams in total... being my first grow i have no idea what to excpect,,, i just wanted to know if you guys thought they were good enough for flowering..

Dont worry man, when the hair shows up, it will be pretty obvious. As to when, it all depends in your current grow situation, usually within 1-2 week from flip.

What Chem is saying is that only you and your current grow situation can make an estimated guess as to your yield. No 2 growers are alike even if given with the same strain and same set-up. Once you have a few run of the same strain then that gives you some idea how much your plant will yield according to your style of growing.

You've decided to flip the switch, that's your call. Some people start their 12/12 from seeds, some like to veg for a long time. Others, wait for their plant to show pre-flower (if from seeds) before flipping.

Don't fall into the rookie mistake of counting your chickens before they hatch--In an average grow with average conditions and an average lamp basic nutes etc with a few of the average problems you usually have to deal with like magnesium deficiency etc . I always averaged out around 80 to 100 grams when its all dried and ready--don't get hung up on numbers--you have 8 plants--estimate 80 grams per plant which is 80X8 which is 640 grams if all goes well which is unlikely--one or two plants don't always work out. put unrealistic expectations to the back of your mind.

you cn safely flip anytime, keep in mind the size of the plant often doubles in flower so be prepared to feed/water/light and otherwise care for what you have in your space. I crammed my 12 in a 2x4 tent with a 400 watt mh, then next a 600 watt hps early on and it was awesome. I followed directions on a Tekna Flora box kit and my plant looked like the cover a magazine. upload_2017-7-16_10-11-28.png
