The baby scrub jays are out of the nest sitting on the branches of the Bower vine. Roxy the lizard killer wants to go outside and lay in the sun. I know if one of the birds lands in the yard it will be all over. I hope they fly away soon.

I actually had no idea that show existed when I named him! I just googled "Australian slang for red heads" since he's a Red Heeler. And saw it amongst the list and was like "Red - Blue, I'm clever as fuck". Then took him to his first vet visit and they were like "oh after the show, cute." And I was like "wut?" Lol. Had I known there was an entire show about an ACD named Bluey, I would've picked something else lol. But the name training had already begun. In reality, I call him Boy most of the time now lol.

And @BarnBuster I actually call him "Boy" cuz this movie.



And cuz I'm clever as fuck. Oh wait…

The pup got too meet Lake Ontario in person today

Here I sit , a 62 yo man who's been though all kinds of crap in my life , with tears in my eyes . Not for me but for a coworker .

She had to have her 10 yo Golden Retriever put down Monday, he had battled cancer like a champ and it was finally time . He was her soulmate . We've been texting back and forth about how it went down and she did everything just right .

But still it hurts and I can't get one thing she keeps saying out of my mind . She keeps repeating "love your dog as much as you can every day of it's life 'cause you never know when it will be over" .

They were nose to nose when he took his last breath . I hope I have her strength when my day comes .

They were a big help today , as I was building a new fence for one of our gardens.
Their heads were constantly located where I needed to pound with sledgehammer!

He really likes our "dad just got home from work" walks.

Went camping and met this Pomsky named Jake.

Now I believe it just a little bit more walking is good lol

Little Buddy got himself a new nickname today on our morning walk through our condo complex . A new resident named him "Mr. Mayor" for the way he carries himself...

He does kinda act like he's in charge !

He's a hoot . Not scared of much for a little guy . Forgot my phone Thursday when I took him to the park , would have gotten a great pic of him nose to nose with "Tyson" the 9 month old Anatolian Shepherd . Tyson's head is twice the size of Jake's whole body .
