just making sure , are these outlets plugged right for 240 volts ?

That is not a 240 volt ( nema 6-20R ) Recepticle and you will not be able to use that plug for 240 volt. It is not terminated properly in more ways than 1. Your wires are barely under the screw and you have a "dead short" on 1 side of it with the white and red wires together. Please see your other post as I Have responded there as well. You really need to critique yourself M8, because you are swimming in dangerous waters.

Hey thx for the help mate , I just got back from my other place and opened up the outlets to see how I hooked them up last year .. They have bin running 5000w for 9 months now so I guess how they are plugged now are fine . here are some pics !

sorry for shitty pics , but as u may be able to see ... I have the red on left and black on right side .... ground plugged on ground and the white wire is not connected.

The white wire you see in the picture is only bringing red hot from left side to the other left side of second outlet... and the black wire is bringing right black hot to right side of outlet 1
