I started inside under three cfl's for three weeks in a party cup.in three weeks the plant root hit the bottom and has a very thick .The plant has been outside for 2 weeks and its still in veg modeAt this point the plant is a foot and a half tall but no sign of budding yet.is their any way to push it into budding since I cant control the light cycle?I am thinking of adding some Tiger Bloom if I dont see anything by April.can anyone suggest other ways to start the budding cyle?

I don't grow outside, but i have read about it and who ever said it won't because of the 12/12 is correct. They won't start budding til later in the year.

Indoor you could possibly run into problems like height restrictions due to vegging too long. I don't think there would be a problem outdoor though. The bigger the better i would think.
