just noticed PM om some leaves as I was havesting.

Got problem I can't find an answer to. I just went out to harvest my girls and I noticed some PM on my leaves. I guess I thought it was just trikes on the leaves, but not any more. the girls are ready to come down. is there anything I can do besides throw them away? please help.

This is going to sound dumb, what's pm?

Powdery Mildew

Trim off the affected area and hang the rest to dry. If the buds are thicker than soda cans, cut them up and lay them out to dry. Keep drying humidity down and if it doesn't spread you should be ok.

What cause the edges of the leaves on a plant to turn yellow

So....as long as I trim most of the white stuff off, and the mold doesnt get worse, it will be ok to smoke?

I may need to explain more. I have white mildew on some leaves and some on the outside of some of the bud sites. inside the bud there is no noticeable white stuff.

Throw away the affected leaves far from where your hanging your buds...


Should be fine to smoke

Bummer. Any insight to what caused it?

PM sucks. I would rather battle gnats/mites. Harvest now and trim very close--be sure to pull apart a few buds and look closely to see if any is growing on the sugar leaves. Throw out all trim that has any PM on it.

low airflow and moisture causes the mold... if your inside then get a dehumidifier.. if your outside then just shake any excess of the plant.. or if you have it easy and can take your blower or hairdryer and blow of any excess moisture off the plants.. i it were me i would take any effected area and the closest buds and dry them separate from the non buds.. the effected one you need to open them up and double check everything... smoking mold is a very deadly and bad idea.. i would not even give it to my worst enemy ...
