Just starting

Well Basically i need a simple rundown of everything i need for all stages of growth and etc.
Best lights, best soil, basic nutrients, where to buy the lights. etc

Also what is the best seed bank that i can buy from online.

Should i get a light that covers both red and blue spectrum? I will not be hydro growing.
All i need is a basic rundown of what i need also some tips and tricks

Veg State...-Veg nutes(I like the Roots Organic nutes..for veg, use "Buddha Grow", i also use their "Trinity" and "Extreme Serene")
-soil(I also use Roots Organic "original potting soil")
-Lights, you can veg with just a 125w daylight cfl( I recommend using a reflector with cfls, I use a brightwing)
-A light timer, lighting for the light schedule(I use 20/4, but 18/6 is fine)

Flowering...-Flower nutes(again, Roots Organic, but for flower, use "Buddha Bloom", and whatever else you wanna add in there)
-Lighting, you can use whatever you want. If you have alot of heat then try cfl's..if heats not a problem use a hps(watt's depends on how many plants you want)
-You'll need to feed and water more, due to the plant drinking more.
-You need to not feed any nutes the last 2 weeks, just flushing and pure water.
-Light Timer set to 12/12.

You can get most of the equiptment such as lighting, nutes, soil, at a Hydroponics store. If you dont have one near by There are a couple website that are know to have good products. If all else fails, ebay is alrite I guess. I would say that if its your first grow, dont try any training, just get a feel for growing first..once you got that down, you can try stuff a lil more advance. Goodluck

also don't forget to keep in mind that MJ smells get that fabreez (jk) but for real un less your neighbors are cool with it

Agree with all of the above I personally went the cfl root n used west's john innes 1,2 n 3 for all appropriate stages with added vermiculite.
With occasional nitrogen, Epsom salt n suger feed between water feeds.

Happybro, Have you read all the forums on RIU?? If you did you wouldn't have had to ask those questions. I find you will receive more help if you read and study yourself. THEN if and when you run into a problem you can then start a thread. Simply stated, starting a thread and asking veteran growers to tell you step by step everything from A-Z is just being lazy on your part. I read and read and READ some more and learned everything from basic growing tips to even topping, LST, and Scrogging just by reading. Good luck.

i dont usually get too high tech with my grows. i put my babies in the window sill with the window slightly open so they get natural sunlight and good wind. once they get too big for the window, you can put them in your grow room under whatever light you want whether its MH, HPS, CFL, etc. just make sure you have proper air circulation and that your light schedule is as close as possible to the same light schedule that they had in the window with the sun. im not much of an expert as far as nutes go cuz i generally grow organic but when i do use nutes i use MG. and i would use the MG moisture control soil if your just starting out. it wont save your plant if you never water it but it does provide a slight buffer zone in case you over/under water. hope all goes well for you. happy growing and as always, stay smokey
