Very nice~ The ZAP should be a great cross, sounds like a super sativa! I missed out on all the fun as well. Both times came in about an hr after sales started and the Vietnamese crosses were gone. All good though, there's enough seeds in the world to go around. :bigjoint:

Day 8 Bloom
20211128_102646.jpg
Tent at 80°/58%. Added a mix of amendments to the topsoil. Gnats came to meet BTi and yellow sticky traps, good for em. After running 5gal of the last posted nutrient batch, switched to a 2-1-3-2-1 profile and have been running since.

Day 11 Bloom, 20 days flip

Cleaned up some leaves throughout the canopy. Planning to supercrop one more time within the next couple days. Dropped humidity down to 55%, continuing to drop as weeks progress.

Smells dank af. Jackpot and purple punch... What a great combo! A bit on the mellow side, but packed with flavor, it's easily enjoyed all day long. Jar opens and the whole room gets hit with skunky fruit goodness.
Afaik Jackpot, or mega jackpot, is J-1 (Jack Herer x Skunk #1) x SSH. Pollen donor was a purple punch f2 male grown/selected by Symbiotic.

Day 16 Bloom

Did not end up supercropping. Middle PG currently stands just under 4' tall. She was topped early on and several times.. Stems were also pinched(supercropped) when they were young.

When stems/branches hardened, parafilm graft tape was used to wrap around stem then pinched and bent into place. The film wraps tightly and sticks to itself AND is permeable, allowing gas exchange. The stem heals naturally and grows through the tape, it falls off naturally. Would recommend for high stress training and those unfortunate stem snaps :peace:

Meat breath x (mm f5) pollen has been plucked and chucked onto 1 PG, MB and VA branch. Paper bag placed over sites to help keep pollen contained. Now the real fun begins!!:leaf:

A couple PG x Midnight Cowboy seedlings around 2 weeks old. 2 of 3 sprouted right away, the 3rd popped a couple days ago.

PG will be reversed next, collected then selfed with a separate clone. Have a good night all, many blessings!! :peace: :eyesmoke:

~75°f & 60% rh

Trichs growing out, the smell is great! 12 days since plants were pollinated by reversed MB. Seeds are forming :)
PG clones now in the flower tent. One reversal, the other will be pollinated for s1 seeds. Saving pollen for future chucks. :peace:

Day 40 Bloom // Day 49 Flip

75-79°, ~60% day // 73-75°, ~53% night

Fulvic & aminos have been reduced from 2g per 10gal water to ~1g/10gal. Water at 6x with same regimen but mkp reduced slightly. Water added to the res to reduce ppm to about 730ppm(.5scale).

Minerals have built up in the coco, sativa more than others, meat breath the least. MB is the most saturated with the most runoff, sativa has the least.

Will continue with reduced ppm feed with intention to bring back to about 1400ppm from ~2200ppm. Viet sativa had about 3300ppm last time it was checked.. most likely the reason for foxtailing so early without so much heat. Gotta make more time to keep ppms in check! :peace:

Plants are full of oils and stink. Tied a couple flopping colas to the poles and swiped a neighboring bud. Left the tent w a sticky arm.

Running a 2-1-3-2-1 elemental ppm feed, lowering the calnit some. Weekly they receive a kelp, fulvic, bacteria, aspirin and yucca "flush" (500ml). Would like to invest in a more sophisticated watering system that monitors drybacks and medium ec with intention to help mitigate stretch/flopping. Currently using an 8 cycle timer.

Planning to add K-sulf next res change.

Trichs are a mix of milky and clear. Flowers are bulking. Reduced mkp and added k-sulf for a 2-1-4-2-1, total ppm comes out to ~740(.5 scale); 6.1-6.3 ph.

Heater has been set for day use only, tent drops down to ~66°f/19°c.
MB(r) crossed seeds look finished on the viet, still going on the pg plant and cannot tell with the mb.. The seeds are totally cocooned within calyxes, it's pretty cool.

_Have some plans in the werx; getting things & stuff pre-paired, coagulating what matters and trusting it to be what It wills. Love, Hope, Trust & Thanks to All.

Awesome!
Nice nuggets!!

I'm super curious on how the Midnight Cowboy turned out in total.
The F1, that is.
I've spent too much time digging for info.
Figured I'd finally just ask someone with some experience.

I'm curious on yield, cure characteristics, and a smoke report if possible.

Thanks in advance for your time, and big respect on your grow.
Looks amazing!
