Katsu seeds

At some point in time I need to make room for looking at males. I constantly have feminized seed crops going right now. I need to remember to have this tent on stand by so I can better judge males in flower.

Like you, I have had most if not all the plants of a certain strain be male. That's fine with most of them. There are some of my genetics. I will have to take what I get if I want to get my moneys worth out of a pack of genetics. It only takes one female to pay for most packs of seeds. If you get none, what is a person to do other than breed with a male?

I'll put the regs in the fridge for a later date :bigjoint: I've been shotgunning tons of different strains the past year and a half to find what I like. The DLA5 x Goji OG I got from Respect Genetics, Dracarys, and Doughlato from Archive have been my favorites. Im gonna try to get a mother from each, and fine tune my growing style. I grow for me and my Dad, just need to have a few jars of a nice variety around :blsmoke:

Right now I have 2 Katsu hybrids going right now. Orange Bubba x Og Kush and a ChemX x Alani.

The Chem Alani was more of a surprise than anything else. Hard shells made them a bitch to get germinated. I have one, that is all that matters.

This is my second of Katsu's Og line. The Burnt Toast x Og Kush had incredible flavor. I really enjoyed the high too. Great midday weed. I am sure there are lots of people that could use it as a all day smoke.

My Putang S-1's have a really distinct leaf shape that looks nothing like those. Not sure of it is a S-1 thing or not. They have uneven finger lengths and don't have much space between them. Most cross over each other much like lots of indica hybrids.

I am not saying you are wrong, I just wanted to throw that out so you would know. I don't know much about Putang other than these 2 plants. They both have the same leaves. Here are a couple pictures of them.

Interesting, I could be wrong. I don't have experience growing Putang or Burnt Toast. I'm just going off pictures I found, Burnt Toast is a cookies cross, I've grown tons of those and the leaves don't look like any cookies I've grown.

They all have thin Sativa looking leaves and when I was looking up Putang I found pictures like this that seemed similar:

And this is a better pic of the leaves on mine:

I agree with you based on the pictures. Maybe it is a S-1 thing. I got it from Mass Medical so it is what they bred LOL.

@Ganjaguy76 every Dracarys I've grown has been K hungry during flower. I add some Langbeinite into my soil, not sure what medium your growing in, just thought I'd give you a heads up.
Thank you for the heads up.I am growing in organic soil. I know it gets hungry during flower, but thought more phosphorus heavy, was going to get some guanokalong powder with NPK of 1-10-1 but you say actually more potash heavy. Would you recommend using high P and K or only K mainly?

I can't get the langbeinite in the UK. Tricky to find high potash organic or natural ferts here.I was looking at kelp meal, but not as high amounts of potash.

I am probably going for Evoponic Goliath which has NPK of 4-7-11, then my grow and bloom are 4-3-6 and 2-7-4 Also banana skin is high in potash, but may have bugs etc, so not keen on that.
Here's a link of the Goliath

I'm sure it wants plenty of P & K during flower. Sounds like you're ready for it :bigjoint:
Yeah, as ready as I can be haha. I want to use a small amount to make some rso ( 1st time but looks pretty straightforward ) So yeah, can't wait to see her develop and grow, then try her out and enjoy her. I'm not sure whether to just upload some pics here and there of the grow or actually make a grow journal ( also 1st time )

I like making journals so I can reference them at a later time :blsmoke: Sometimes things get blurred together, nice to be able to go back and see exactly what you did, and what the results were.

You do make a good point. As a hermit with a dog and wife who doesn't have friends it is nice to have a little community where we can help each other out and we all become better growers. I will make a grow journal. I'm new to it so will google it and get it up and running. Will post a link here when ready. Thanks man
