kelp meal and seedlings

I have a 0.6-0-1.5 kelp meal just curious if I can top dress in my 6" seedling pot and water it in? I tried mixing a foliage spray 1.5 tsp to a 1 ltr spray bottle but it clogged the sprayer. I ended up filtering out what did not dissolve. Can I use it as a spray also? Plant is 1 week old.

Is your plant showing signs that are making you think you need to top dress? I'd hate for you to cause problems trying to add something that wasn't needed. Seems like a 1 week old plant really shouldn't need a top dress?

I have it in an organic mix feeds up to 3 months. I know I should not start them in that but I did. The first set of leaves are just a light green not yellow but light green and I do not think they are as dark as they should be. I don't know if the kelp meal would help green it back up again. What do you think?
Side note I think I am just going to transplant next watering and try and knock off as much as that soil I have it in now and put it in my peatmoss/perlite mix and a light watering with some Biobizz grow and root juice. When I transplant should I put it in just peatmoss/perlite? I also have compost and topsoil enriched with humus and some granite dust to mix in or is it still to early for that?

So, sounds to me like it could be several things, and without more information it would be hard to figure out exactly what is going on. Can you be more specific on the organic mix that feeds three months? Can you describe your room environment, lights - what kind, how close, heat & humidity, watering schedule, etc? If you are comfortable posting picts, that can often give more insight.

I think without knowing what's going on, throwing more stuff in there could have a wide range of effects, many of them undesirable.
