This is how far I had them for veg:

I have not flowered yet with the spinner. It makes my room too humid to have that big of a plant inside. I am building a lab for growing with the Kessils. I just need to get a job first.

I do not measure the distance. I just watch and see what my plants like best.

Cheers,
Mo
But arnt the kessil lights fairly inneffective too high? I mean the h150 is a maximum reccomended 18" and the h350 24". I dont see them being much use higher than that.

Have you seen them in person? Feels like your eyes are going to melt. My poor plants did not like them very close.

It's my first grow. Currently I have only three lights purple H150 and blue H150 for vegetation and Red H150 for blooming. For vegetation I am using Purple and Blue for vegetation and I am thinking to switch to Purple and Red. How do you think, what is the best time? Or Should I turn on all of three lights?

I didn't think the H150 had any moving parts. That is weird. Call Kessil and see what they say. I have a purple H150 that stopped working. I need to get it serviced. @SomeGuy is going to take a look at it for me.

By the way - I would run all of the lights especially when you are growing short leafy strains. The red will help them stretch out more and give you nice long colas. When you are growing stretchy strains, keep an eye on them and maybe keep the red out of the mix except for fifteen minutes at lights off.

Cheers,
Mo

What is the true LED wattage of these Kessils? I am confused....how do you add up how much led watts you have with kessils? The H350 says its 90 watts yet equivalant to 350 watt hid? The H150's use 36 watts yet are supposed to rival a 150 watt hid. So if I have 2 H350's and 2 H150's
Do I have 252 LED watts or 1000 watts? I highy doubt the latter.

You are using 252 watts of electricity to produce the equivalent of 1000 watts of traditional light. Additionally - the light is tuned for optimal leaf absorption so you are not producing any unneeded light.

The best part is that you are not using most of your electricity to create heat!

How do your plants look?

Hey guys, I just have one question for you. Now I have Kessil h150 Purple , Red, Blue grow lights. I want to grow in closet and I think, to buy extra 2x h150 magenta or 1 x H350 magenta? Because purple and blue would be fine enough for vegging..
One Magenta h350 or h380 would be even better

They look good but I dont want to have two many plants for the amount of kessil led light that I have. I would rather flower less plants effectively than have more plants not getting enough light for vigorous flowering. How many 5 gallon plants would you suggest for these lights to flower?

H350 Deep Purple
H350 Magenta
H150W Blue
H150W Red

There was a grower here a couple of years ago that grew one Tahoe OG in a cabinet the size of a refrigerator with a 1K HID and an air conditioner. Frostiest nugs Tahoe OG I have ever seen!

Blue Mystic:
Nirvana Seeds - Blue Mystic
Blue Mystic was especially selected for its soft blue hues, which appear roughly halfway into flowering. Blue Mystic grows in a very similar manner to Northern Light, showing all the desirable qualities of that strain, with the added appeal of its own colourful appearance and the faintly berry-like aftertaste of its smoke. Compared to many other strains, Blue Mystic maintains a neutral smell while growing.

Yield: 400 - 500 grams/m² (SoG)
Effect: Stoney
Grow height: Low
Flowering Indoor: 9 / 11 weeks

User-Generated Strain-Profile
Known Phenotypes:

C99:
The Cinderella 99 is Christmas come early, absolutely white all over. This beautiful girl features compact and greasy buds from top to bottom. Backcrossing her many times has created this ultimate Sativa strain once again in seed form, the C-99, aka the Holy Grail. Buds and leaves will be covered in trichomes. Pistils are ball shaped, not your usual ‘candles’. Very dense, compact buds for a sativa-dominant plant with very little leaves to boot, making her easy to manicure. The aroma is a tropical fruity one; a nice mellow fresh and fruity floral sensation. There can be variation in taste and smell (3 phenos), from a grapefruit, pineapple to more floral fruity aroma. Ideal for scrogging with a mind-blowing psycho-active high that will leave you smiling.

Genetics: 85% Sativa / 15% Indica
Flavour: Floral citrus taste
Flowering Time: Indoor: 8-9 weeks

They both sound like they can get tall. Top the one you pick (or mainline) and fill your cab with one nice bush.

Cheers,
Mo

So I finally got around to getting pictures, as you can see the new leds are all set up I just need to do some tidying up with hanging wires and holes in the wall so it doesnt look so sloppy. Can't wait to see how these perform, I was running just the kessil for a couple days and they were loving it so hopefully they take kindly to the ufo as well. View attachment 3334742
My cab is the same size as yours bry and I have the H150 magenta along with a 100 watt blackstar ufo, 2 T5's and an additional cfl. Just now on my third grow with this cab and some good results so far....of course we always want to do better!

I've had the H150 as close as 5-6" without any adverse effects or bleaching. This is my dinafem critical jack that I started recently (and just topped). It's really developing a strong main stem.

Yours is a lot cleaner, beautiful! Inspires me to do some tidying up
Unfortunately I'll be moving come August so I only have until then to fine tune this set up, running a handful of smaller plants at a time rather than just one for the whole space. Figure that'll give me more variety and be the most exciting for what little time I have left. I'll update here Friday. Cheers to tiny growing!
