I have several successful grows under me Always vegged under MH and flowered under HPS. This time I am vegging this plant under a lumigrow LED grow light. Wondering what i am doing wrong here. Haven't seen these weird spots in any of my other grows.

What are you feeding it? pH and ppm?
That isn't anything light related, looks like a nute burn

Yup that looks like nute burn, I start my seedlings off at 1/4 strength of what they suggest
I am using the same stuff for veg
Do a rez change and just use 1/4 strength nutes, should be around 300 ppm or so
That is most def nute burn

I'm wondering about this too because mine are doing this as well. My plants are about the same size, but they seem to be a little bit behind yours on whatever this is.

I have this same kinda thing, but I'm not adding nutes yet? Is mine still nute burn? I have Jiffy-Mix potting mix and the ph is 7.1

Is jiffy mix potting mix pre nuted? It could have burned your plants
Get that pH down to 6.5, 7.1 is way too high it is going to start locking out nutes if you don't correct it

I accept with information: That isn't anything light related, looks like a nute burn.

I didn't actually mean for anyone to think that I thought this was light related just that I haven't run into this problem before. Up until i switched to the LED light.

Lower the nutes to around 300 ppm and you will be good to go
I am using 600 ppm on my 2 week old DWC plant

I'll work on lowering the soil ph and jiffy mix has no nutes.

....looks like you have a cal./mag. deficiency at first glance....which could be brought on by overwatering, overfeeding, ph out of range...exc...check out this photo gallery of plant abuse > http://www.ganjaguerrilla.net/

Good luck.

Maybe I have the cal/mag deficiency because I just realized that I was over watering them.

My plants aren't as damaged as the ones pictured here, do you think I'll be able to save them?

it looks like nute burn to me. i doubt at that stage, that it would be a deficiency. i dont even feed my seedlings or clones until they show me that they need em. usually the leaves will start to yellow slightly, indicating that it needs nutes. even then, i will only start out with a low dose, then slowly bring it up until vegging with full strength. your plants will also be much more sensitive to nutes under the LED. so LED grown plants save on much more than just electricity, but nutes as well.

today's another day. You guys still think its nute burn?

Indirectly it is also a light problem, you did switch to leds which makes the plants growth slower than using mh.
So the plant doesnt use up all the nutes your use to giving them because they arent growing at a rate that would
utilize them.

i had Mg def on my grow that looked JUST like that one. But i agree thant your ppm level is a little too high for the plants as seedlings. It might be a Mg lockout due to high ppm.
