can i clone without a dome?
You don't need the dome but it helps immensely to keep the media most, the last thing you want to do is let it dry out. With hydro cloning you don't really need it. If you can't get one you could just cut the bottom off of a 2L soda bottle and put it over the clone. Like cash crops said it will take a while cause is in flower and might shoot out some one fingered leaves but when it takes off it will be extra branchey. Look up monster cropping. I wouldn't cut to much though it's kinda small

I clone in a 2 liter bottle. Cut the bottle in half. Put some peat moss into the bottle. Dip your cutting into your rooting hormone, and stick it in the peat moss. Tape the top half of the bottle back on, and you should be good. Functions just like a dome.

Incidentally, I am currently in LB. I will be down here until the 2nd of march. I have a bunch of high grade seeds that I made last season, and I am always handing them out freely to passionate growers.

I work in Washington.... growing and breeding thousands of plants.

a month?!?!??!
The way I clone outdoors, which was successful, I got propergating mix searles poured that into a pot, stuck the clones in hormone gel and kept another pot over the top, every 7-8 hours id leave the pot off for 15-30 mins and let the wind replace around the clones then put the pot back on, I left the pot off everyday for more and more and to tell how it had roots I just left the pot off for a whole day then I let them grow abit more and transplanted and you need to foliar feed so just when they look thirsty, I did this from pure experience not knowing if I would have wasted money on the propagating mix because its pretty expensive for a little bag or wreck my plant because of previous outdoor cloning attempts

If you clone correctly you dont need domes as you dont need to control rh, just temps.
Thick stems, healthy mum, more of a scrapping than a stem cut. Use cloning powder and you need to keep temps around 80 ,heat mats, clone box(i use an old 3 draw cabinet) and a small cfl. Its near impossible cloning outside.
