oh i am going to hook up everyone with my mix bongsmilie

so that everyone can figure the difference;-)

lol an owl and a goat

i have a strong fascination for owls. and it isn't because my lastname has something to do with owls.:blsmoke:

just because there are people who are marketing smart out there doesn't mean that you will be the "dumb" consumer, but simply an "unaware" consumer. obviously this isn't a bad thing, but i think it is important that people become aware that there is an option (assuming the person would like to dabble into growing for quite sometime) to make your own mix and have a lifetime supply.

the cookie can crumble in many ways
hey man, bongsmilie lets agree that the marketing is smart why because when you go to the hydro store (at least here in the bay) most people there are not growing tomatoes, so why the secret i'm going wit the co thats not to proud to be part of the movment, and the shitz good according to a lot of diffrent peoplez. I will have to find out for myself of course.

mix of amino acids being unique....lol i have to laugh at that one. there is nothing special or unique about their shit, it is nutes in a bottle seperated in several bottles.
ok owl, i get your point but don't distort mine. i don't think its magic, i say its unique because every different combination of nutrients is unique. what other product mirrors exactly kushie kush, or gravity, or even flora nutes or any other standard line. good, bad, and useless they are all unique. dig?

phreaky what did you use wth the K K and do you feel as though it did what it said it would do what more you looking for
y'know AN promises a 40% greater yield, a retardedly ballsy thing to say. if not, they promise $ back. they are unbelievably over-the-top marketers, which often poorly reflects on their products in our culture.

i was looking to experiment with a new product, and i happened to have some store credit at a hydro shop. I'm growing an amazing purple kush strain (no idea of its origin, was passed down as a clone from a friend). the strain is amazing in flavor, smoke, and smell but the yield hasn't quite reached my hopeful expectations.

i don't know about the yield or any other factor yet (until it dries), but when it grew it did have a different growth pattern: a little faster, bigger lower buds, more distribution of purple, and a bit more stalky. I really want to try it on a more LST'd plant, but i was too busy to give my garden TLC this semester.

i apologize for distorting your point; i have no intention of doing that.

i agree it is a unique combination of nutrients, but it is not "all there" which is why they sell "additives". i.e. kushie kush

an additive for kush? i mean, i'm sure you can use this additive with "non-kush" plants, but otherwise; don't you smell something?

phreakygoat, i'm not trying to go out on a limb and call you out for using their lineup or whatnot. when it comes down to it, i think you are smart, sexy, and you dress nice.

in fact, i may just be in love ;-)bongsmilie:lol:

lol, i'm just fucking with you, but seriously, it's all about the hustle 'n' bustle.

LOL! i am the worst dressed guy at the party, but thanks you are a gentleman and a scholar. but I AM sexy as hell, lol.

also i didn't mean to mislead, but I don't use the AN brand nutes, just kushie kush. i'm using flora nova currently, working decently. according to AN there are better additives for other plants, so i'd guess that is their way of saying these nutes better fit a stout indica... i dunno...

i bought it knowing that the money could be a waste, I wouldn't suggest anyone rely on it whatsoever. seems to have had some impact, albeit a mild one. :peace: growers.

ive been thinking about using AN.kushi hush looks cool, but i agree that they are just marketing to our community.but hey why not.they supposedly spend cash hiring scientists to come up with formulas that work well with cannabis.im not saying they wont also work with other plants but when they developed them everything was tested on the marijuana plant.so the effects on lets say a basil garden are unknown.but one can assume if it worked to help cannabis(a weed) grow healthier than we can assume it will help a food crop flourish as well.also it is directed specifically to the medical growing community ,which consists of very sick people that most likely dont have hundreds of extra dollars to spend on nutrients that dont do the job that the company claims.i honestly feel some type of way abut their prices considering this fact.i mean if they really are here to help sick people as BIG MIKE their spokes man says over and over again in their underground growers videos they email.i signed up thinking it would be cool but its just a bunch of videos of BIG MIKE babbling on and on about how he is the jesus of they hydro industry and how his products are superior to anything else available.one of his favorite phrases is "if you want to grow the BIG buds you gotta get with the big dogs "or something gay like that lol(a dick if you ask me,he seems like a total tool) personaly i use Technafloras recipe for success.it costs around 40$ to get a kit of 10 different formulas.it workd like ANs system where you have to mix certain bottles together based on a chart that the company has developed.with my kit i feel it was very well put together.i have great results and it has crazy names just like AN for a fraction of the cost.doesnt sugar daddy, calmag, thrivealive etc....sound just as good as bud candy voodo and connoisseur?i dont know,im just not one to spend hundreds of dollars on nutes when in reality i could start a compost heap and do it all for free.but i am lazy so the technaflora kit suites me well.you can even use it in soil and hydro systems.for soil you only feed once every 1-2 weeks though (which is what i do)so it even saves cash with the usage.i recommend it to anyone looking for an alternative to AN and their high prices.why pay 150 and up for a kit of nutes when you can get the whole shebang on ebay for 40$ free shipping lol.ive used this product for years actually and have turned a few friends on to it as well.all of which have no complaints.i not a sales person i just hate to get ripped off as i imagine you all do as well.im not saying the products dont work im just saying at the very least they are over priced.i think someone should do a side by side so we can all see what the expensive AN products really accomplish.
