Landlord shown apt. Plants not done HELP

Buy two 40 gallon rubbermaid tubs(25.00), cut the bottom out of one and stack em on top of each other. Put the plants inside and put em in a closet with labels on them..."kitchen" and "blankets". I know it'd work I had to put 27 1 1/2 feet tall plants in 9 rubbermaid tubs all with labels like described above. Landlord was literally face to face with the tubs and never expected anything!

That really sucks. I don't think you should keep them in the apartment and I don't think you should harvest them early. Get up at like 3am and move them somewhere, either in the woods, your car (dont drive it with them in there lol) or somewhere secure. Do this the night before, air out your apt if it stinks and just hope for the best man. I wish you luck.

But if it comes down to it, destroy them before even risking getting caught. Just not worth it.

I like the rubbermaid idea. If he finds out I'll bet he finds the plant her will only tell you to get rid of them, but do you want to take that chance.

Depends if the landlord/lady is cool or not. I read a post on here not too long ago about a crazy landlady who used a key to open the dudes apartment and take pictures of the 3 plants he had. She then proceded to call the cops. He had all this on camera, of the landlady unlawfully comming in with a key and now she is appologizing to him, anyway, good story.

yep, i stay up on that guy's plight, he had all charges dropped AND a judges' order for the return of his light! he is contemplating a civil lawsuit. CRAZYLANDLADY!!!!

This is why you should not grow in rental property.
i would never grow in property i owned. If i were to get busted they can confiscate whatever they decide to, including property and cars. Always grow in a rental property, unless your so rich that you can afford to loose your house along with freedom.

I don't know about the rental property thing, in your own house as long as you grow a small garden its easy to keep the smell down and avoid any unwanted attention. It's when you get overconfident and start growing roomfulls of plants with 2 x 1,000 watt HID lamps is when you might need to worry a little. People even do that in their own houses and avoid being caught so...I'm all for growing in the privacy of your own home.

Yeah, rentals are sketchy. Same reason I dont like outdoor grows. Too many people that could potentially discover something they shouldnt. If its YOUR house, the only people that would be coming in would be people you let in. Ive had the cops show up here twice while I was having a party (full of underage drinkers, and I myself was intoxicated). Cops wanted to come in, I told them it was my house, and if they wanted in, they'd need a warrant. If this had been a rental, a simple phone call to the landlord could have scored them a warrant.

no it wouldnt have, thats bullshit. I dont care what state you live in, a cop cant call a landlord and magically get a warrant, or any kind of entry into your crib. Stop posting shit you know aint true. You give the impression that you know what you are talking about and that is very misleading to the rest of us.

Its not uncommon for police near my college to alert landlords when they have a suspicion of something and get their permission to enter the building. If the landlord gives them the green light... theyre comin in. I didnt think it was legal either, apparently I thought wrong.

they can enter the "building" but not your unit, unless they have PC.....

The whole unit is 1 building. These are houses that this happened at. College rental houses where 4 or 5 people live and commute to school. Local PD called the landlords, and if the landlords gave permission (some did, some didnt) they would enter.

i c, im sorry i got so inflamed. I do see how that would happen in a college town type situation. i live in a college town too, and i know the type of buildings/houses youre talking about.

No worries. :blsmoke:

It sucks though, let me tell ya. Cops in college towns got nothin better to do than bust parties... makes it tough to grow (and still have parties).
