large yield vs frosty buds ?

Does the plant continue to produce trichomes all of the way until the end? From what I've seen the frost hits first, then the swelling. That's why I posted the gif of the expanding universe.

Check this frosty bud out:

You could smoke, vape, or ingest all of this fine bud you could consume, and it wouldn't get you one bit high. This is CBD Therapy, a <1% THC bud bred by Shantibaba of mrnice.nl/CBD Crew, photo by elpolloloco from the mrnice forum.

This bud looks great, smells just as good, but will _never_ get you high. Resin production, like smell, is a good, general indicator of the quality but until you actually _consume_ the product and gauge its affect on you, you will never know how "good" it is.

Can't believe this is still a topic on a cannabis forum.

What I find with CBD strains no matter how frosty, the resin is just not there. You could trim a lb bare handed and not produce much more than a gram of finger hash.

I've never bothered to count but I currently have 14 varieties while getting set up after a couple months of not growing, I usually keep around 25 moms and am constantly growing seeds as well as clones collected at pot socials, so a consertative estimate of 15 cultivars per year over 15+ years is already over 200 varieties.
That's fair if you've been growing that long. Typically people massively overshoot their number of harvests / different strains until they actually start counting them up in their heads.

That's not a frosty bud. That's a bud with some frost.

While this is somewhat true, a frosty nug is still going to get you higher than a non frosty nug. I've never felt like I've been duped by fugazi frost.
Try smoking something pre cookies, grown in soil.

I cull everything that's considered frosty. The long neck trichs produce garbage smoke. Plus, old varieties have grease inside the plant material itself. Lots of modern bud is like smoking trim..

Everybody’s different - i like pinene / mycrene profiles.
Doubtful. Buy those terpenes and put them in some distillate and try to convince yourself that shit is pleasant. It ain't. It doesn't even have a flavor other than chemicals burn.

Katsu Kush. Oreoz. None of that white frosty stuff hits. It's mostly calcium carbonate in the stalks giving that look.
Are u talking about Katsu Bubba Kush or is there another strain called Katsu Kush?

I got Katsu bubba x bubba (csi Babu) which is frosty but half the bubba s1s I’ve grown were not as frosty but still proper potency but just like op says they don’t yield much.

the sparkly-trich weed is rare these days at least around my way and the dispo weed is mostly peach fuzz with no potency.

I've been smoking for almost 30 years now.

I dont remember 90's bud having much frost, including S Fla crippy weed which was the best tasting, strongest bud I smoked at the time. I'm currently running Swamp Boys BRZKR due to it possibly having similiar lineage to crippy. It is my least sparkly plant but currently my favorite to smoke. Tasty af and gets me really stoned.
