largest bust in la county history

I know this is not a direct relation to specific. I remember a guy in N.C. years back that was busted with about 25 lbs of pot. That same night someone broke into the SBI office and stole the evidence. I think it was mafia related given the character of the person who they charged. Back in the 80's LOL

I do not like cops, not even a little. That said, I really hope this large bust drives prices up (yes I am aware of the irony of this statement while calling myself Lenin)

Well it's been a year since the bust and the prices keep going down. They seized $2.7 billion in Oregon last year and the prices went down.

It's not rocket science growing cannabis. In fact it's an extremely easy plant to grow. I expect the prices to keep dropping. One thing is certain, they're not going up. Big AG or offshoots from it will be cranking out cannabis outdoors like growing corn and indoors like hothouse tomatoes. Wait a second, people already are.

A good friend I've known since high school is a cop. Great guy. Can't lump them all together.

Easy to grow sure, expensive to grow indoors too. My thing with cops is not that they’re all individually bad people but that the system they support and enforce is. I’ve got quite a few former friends who became cops after the army, not bad people, but they’re not my friends anymore.

It's no more expensive than growing any other plant indoors under lights.

Didn’t say it was(though probably is by a little, most crops don’t require as much dehumidification, cause you can easily wash them of mold/mildew and don’t have to worry about rot as much) indoor gardening is generally expensive though

Hahahahahah. Those are all my neighbors lmfao. Holy Moley. Welcome to the high desert. These are everywhere. Ones ten times bigger
Word. They most likely only shut them down because they were too large and had possible sketchy ties. A lot of towns in the high and low desert are grow hubs. It’s really like 1/10 houses is growing. Sheriffs aren’t interested in cutting off the towns main source of income.

Yea they are. 10 a day man. I see this shit first hand. They bull doze it. And go to the next one. Lmao. I literally watch it live. We rented property to one of them too. He said he was legit. Went to collect. Place was turned over. Scored me a shit load of irrigation hose.

all those grows popping up are from mexico. I see them. None even speak English.Like dead ass giveaway. Stealing water from Hydrants and people homes. Lol. Straight cartel. No fucks givin. I have not met one in the hundred I drive by that are close to legit. One person. My neighbor. That’s it.

“Sketchy ties”. Lmfao. Every single one. Haha. Niggas walking out with rifles and shit lmfao. Handguns in the hip. Like. As sketchy as it can be. I’m happy that place got bulldozed. We were about evict his ass.

Jeez, okay that is terrifying. I was lumping my experience with the east part of the desert to your side. Morongo side (from my experience) is mostly local growers who’ve been doing it for some time in residential areas.

here I am, looking at menus with $75 1/8th's.

I kinda think that commercial grows have not only increased price, but they've also decreased quality. people that don't smoke thinking theyre gonna move to a legal state and grow a bunch of weed because its legal now and sell it to all the dumb stoners and make billion.

The dispensary weed in SoCal is not what it used to be. Prices dropped a little bit but quality dropped a lot. It’s also hard to buy anything of decent quality in larger quantities.
I started growing only because it got so bad that I figured there is no way I could grow worse weed then what I was buying.

I just took this screenshot from a place across the Columbia river in Vancouver Washington. There are even cheaper deals in Portland. It's good weed. Some on the forums will claim it's not but it's better than what most growers end up with. The west coast is flooded with good cheap weed. Colorado and Oklahoma are the same.

there are $40-50 8th's too. but it's garbage weed, and anyone from CA won't be happy smoking it. I have no idea how good these $75 8th's are though, I would never pay that much, dont care. Only in the early 2000's were you able to buy better than you could grow. now just about anyone can grow better quality product than what's generally available.
