Why not 12/12? Saves energy and maximizes flower..??? I've never heard of starving them of light either. May as well just start trimming Man.

36 hours dark is bro-science and won't do a thing. When the trichs are all cloudy it's time to start chopping!

I just use plain water the last couple weeks with maybe some epsom salts for the extra sulfur. Good for the glands.

:peace:

I did a 2 week flush and I got yelled at for starving my plants and it's not necessary. So many debates about it. No real facts.

Last grow I fed till 2 days before harvest and did the 36 hr dark. Tasted good to me! The time I flushed my buds ended up being full of seeds. Probably didnt cause it but sure didnt help it. I'm still learning so much and I have been growing almost a year. Only resource I have is internet land, so it's always a he said, she said battle.

When a situation becomes debatable....take each side with a grain of salt.
Make up your own mind and experience will be your best guide.
Lastly, do what works for you, stay with it until you find a better way to do it.

Flushing or not flushing has nothing to do with seeds. If you had seeds then you had pollen. Flushing does not enter into the equation.

Flushing can cause osmotic stress to the roots of your plant. I'm not saying it will damage your yield, but I wouldn't risk it personally. Up to you.
