Late flower dying leaves: to snip or not to snip?

So what's the consensus here (if there is one) on defoliating those yellow leaves that are starting to go crispy in the later part of flower? Wait until they crisp up completely to remove or do y'all think it's fine to take them a bit before they lose all life?
I've pulled the half dead leaves with some of my autos and left them to completely shrivel with others. Since every time I grow a plant it's a completely different strain and I don't utilize the same pot sizes, training, feeding regiment or even equipment like lights (still learning and fine-tuning my craft), I have no idea if that defoliation has been helping or hindering my yields. Info out there is either old or conflicting, so input from any of you wiser hands would be great.

Here's my stunted little 3BOG auto, 10 inches tall and a foot in diameter. She could've been bigger if I didn't light burn her for the first 5 days of her life and then neglect to treat her calcium deficiencies until she hit flower because I've been growing her in Great Lakes Water Only Soil. Actually surprised at how well she managed to bounce back after all of that.
My conditions are pretty dry at the moment, running between 31-38% RH, and temps have been 82-86F, but there were a couple times I caught the tent at 29% and 88F.

She just hit 65 days so I should be harvesting later in the week according to the breeder, but I've been harvesting my crops 2 weeks past the recommended times, and I think I'll be doing the same with her since I have yet to see any amber and I like my indicas to knock me out. So for the next 2.5 weeks should I be clipping those dying leaves before they're fully dead or let the plant use them up first? Which would be better for yields and quality?

Those “ leaves “ are showing an excessive deficiency in potassium- hence the yellowed necrotic margins and tip ( which always mimics nute burn ) . Whatever happened to feed or ph or something has locked the shit out of that element.

Not sure after the hijinks you mentioned that auto went thru IF it will want to push forward now. If it stalled as you say - then plant is what it is.
