Law of Gravity

I had a question for everyone, and I was hoping someone may have experimented with this to answer my question.

Well my first question is, do plants live by the law of gravity?

I want to do a vscrog style grow and I wanted to put the pots just below the center of the bulb. I would train the plant into the screen and all the way down and up the screen. I'm just not sure that the plant will allow me to train below the trunk. And if it should, would that affect the way the auxins are flowing?

Well - "Yes" and "No"!

Below "groundlevel", the roots grow outward and downward in an attempt to chase after water which has been drawn deeper underground by the effects of gravity.

Above "groundlevel", the leaves are controled by "Phototropism" (they literally "aim" themselves at the lightsource). It is not so clear how individual branches respond to light, but on the whole, plants do tend to "grow towards the light".

They already sell those "Up-side-down Plant Gizmo's" (I forget what they're called). "Upsy Daisey", "Toppsy Turvey", something like that. Google can find anything!!!
