Leaf discolouration and slow growth

I am growing in DWC, I have a cheap amazon light, just waiting on my mars 3000 to show up, running at 70 for a temp and 45 for RH. I was using advanced nutrients grow, micro and bloom. Switched to Sensi bloom this morning, I strictly use RO water, this plant had been in bloom since about March 1, so I am about 6 weeks into flowering. Ph is 5.8, I have read that when using RO water only that a calcium deficiency is most likely. So I have ordered a bottle of cal-mag. Just wondering if you guys could take a look at her. By the way I had two posts going yesterday under hydroponics and DWC somehow. I apologize for that.image.jpg

Would that also be the problem with a bit of slower growth? Or am I at the stage I should be for the weeks into flower, the strain is northern lights. The bud is about six inch long and 1 inch wide at the top, little wider at the bottom. This strain is an auto growimage.jpg

Just curious.. how bad is your tap water? ppm-wise? No reason to use RO if you already have good water.. and even with tap you still need cal/mag (i tried without and plants looked like yours)

P.s. to your post you just did... yes if you have nutes out of balance it can stop growth or cause problems worse than over/under feeding.. go get some calcium and epsoms and make that plant happy..

It’s affecting the growth for sure imo.
Also, Are you making sure to give the right amount and type of nutrients for this stage?
I think you should cut back on the grow nutes at this stage as she might be done stretching.

My water is 7.5 out of the tap? Don’t know why I thought bottles water would just be better. So I picked up some Epson salt today, I just did the reservoir change on her this morning, used the Sensi bloom. Can you let me know if I have the rite product and if I do, do you know what ratio per litre should be added to her. Also do you add this when ever you add water to your girl?image.jpg

Advanced nutrients grow, micro and bloom claim it works in all stages, however I changed it to Sensi grow when I did a res change this morning

Yes.. depends on your nutes, but i use separate cal and mag so you can adjust each rather than just a calmag liquid... epsom is your mag.

And your tap water.. the ph doesn't matter cause you can adjust it.. what ppm is your tap?

i think it’s a teaspoon\gallon, but never tried it myself.

btw.. for cal.. you want calcium nitrate you can get it on amazon super cheap.. i don't know your nutes or what needs to be added.. for my setup i use 1g mag(epsom) per gallon and 2g cal per gallon.

And yes.. each time you feed.

BTW.. when you get through your current nutes look up Jacks 3-2-1.. it's the cheapest nute out there, and you run it from seed to harvest... i love it.

I am using Sensi bloom now, as of today, it is in 16.5 litres of water. I have cal mag coming in Tuesday morning. Should I give it some of the magnesium now and then give it some cal mag when it gets in. If so should I go by the entire res size of water or just add it as I add wasmter? You guys have helped me out a bundle today

No idea how big your res is.. i just run 5gal buckets (sorry bout the non metric.. i actually love the metric system but can't be bothered to do the math) :) I would add some now as it won't hurt.. do like .75g/gal.. always start low when starting new nutes... too much hurts plants more than not enough in the short term. Shame you couldn't find calcium around.. but the mag should help a bit. Eventually you will drop calmag and just use mag and cal on their own. And i hope the plants get better... every grow you learn more.

I really liked advanced nutrients grow, micro and bloom with ph perfect, my ph was dead on every time
Well if that works for you then awesome:) everyone likes different things and it's just a weed you can grow it with almost anything... hell jacks is a straight up agricultural feed.. weed doesn't need special nutes with fancy names, it's just another plant..

It works out to 4.25 gallons so I will do my conversion and add it in, like I said I do have cal mag coming but will take your advice, there are a couple friends I can get calcium from.

yeah. you don't need much and you will end up using it eventually anyway.
