???? leaf just turned brown in a few hours? any ideas?

I like the plan and the light,, fim, lst or top so you get a nice even spread before flip and you will get a really good yield, i'll reserve my yield guess till the flip as so much depends on how well the veg goes lol What do you think you could get ?

A few years back when I grew I was getting about 3 ounces per plant, that was in a home made nft system wich wasn't really optimized tbh. so that's kinda my target again, although I seem to have a bit of a slow grower in one of the buckets so not really expecting to much from it. if I get over ten dry from the four of them il be happy enough with that :)

Thats .56 per Watt, if you veg into the space well you should achieve at least that. Actually 4 is a good number of plants for a 2 week veg before flip for 1 x 600. i say that because thats what i do lol. actually thats what i did this round i got lazy on so pushed four more plants in and didn't do any training whatsoever just let them go au natural, getting lazy really but as long as i get 20 0z out of them all i'll be able to pay the bills.
These are on the other side of my bloom room there's 12 Deep Freeze there under 2 x 600 veged 14 days and they're now at day 12 on 12/12.

what do you reckon your average is per plant with only a 2 week veg? I heard most of the guys getting over 5 a plant where doing a month veg atleast so that's what swung me to doing only four, my thoughts are one big is better than two small lol. nice room and btw your sig makes me smile every time I see it

I would not push the nutes up until you find out what's bugging the plant. Do you go for run when you ankle hurts??? NO! Lets have a picture of the root system and see what going on there. Are you sure that's not light burn, the damage seems to be isolated to one area???

Matt, do you actually have experience growing in DWC? it really sounds like you don't with such a silly analogy to breaking your ankle and running... What ppm do you run your DWC at? Really? A broken ankle so you stop feeding the patient? What a terrible analogy... What if the "broken ankle" is really just the plant being hungry? But maybe I'm wrong and maybe you actually do have a DWC setup.

sparky, just set the ppm to a good level and stop listening to these people saying you're going to burn your plant... Your plant burns at like 1800ppm... They're totally full of shit. I'm obviously not saying to go up to 1800 or anywhere near that, but 800-1000 would be a good start.

I have all the pots but one at 1000 now, I have a slow grower, seems very green compared to the rest and has had little growth in a week, the others have exploded compared to it. from what I can see the leafs have stopped dieing but I still have the faded patches on the leafs. all the root masses seem fine, nice and white and good growth. il stick a pic up tonight when the other half is home with the camera, maybe yous will see something I don't. in general for 2 weeks of veg I think I have pretty good growth above and below. just this weird patchiness??

Yeah i thought nute splash or lighting just because of that isolated damage too, Just read your old journal mate nice work, loved the battry acid ph down lol

I averages around 2.25 - 2.5 oz a plant with 14 day veg/ 42 day 12/12. Not great gm/watt ratio but its low maintenance and makes me around 9 grand every 42 days. Your right about 1 big being better id love to LST a big beautiful canopy and flip but don't have the time, maybe some time this year i might bite the bullet dedicate a light and grow one for show, not dough. Glad my sig gives ya a chuckle too bro.

hey there churchhaze, don't be so harsh on matt bro he's only trying to help and he does have quite a bit of knowledge. We were just trying to diagnose sparkys leaf damage issue and didn't think he had a defficiency so we are still trying to determine what it could be . Nobody is telling sparky to reduce his nutes or wants him too, we all want sparky to have nice healthy plants that eat nutes as fast as he can get them to them, were just trying to help get him there. Do you have any ideas on what could be causing the isolated leaf damage thats happening ? and i liked Matts analogy lol

Thats great news sparky hopefully that issue is over, as long as the new growths looking good which with it "exploding" must be. In fact since they are going well maybe Churchhaze or Matt could give you some advice with your ppm's to keep them in the grow zone.

some pictures of the roots of the one that's got the patches and the one that's doing the best WP_000301.jpgWP_000295.jpg this one is from two weeks ago.WP_000147.jpg

How weird just one doing that, was the res warmer or lighter in that area somehow wtf, maybe strain related. Regardless its finally got its feet in the water and looks quite white from here so she should pick up mate.

so I looks like this problem has cleared up. fingers crossed it stays that way. started using a few we additives now and after one day they seem to have responded well to it. I have been flushing the slow grower with ph'd water with a drop of liquid oxygen in it for a couple of days now and it seems to be perking up a bit too. I think it had a bit of a salt buildup in the rockwool, the ppm of the water has been rising so im assuming the rockwool is dumping in back into the res. so overall things are looking good :peace:

Awesomeness. I think ya got different phenos in ur seeds no biggie....I have 4 WWBB's all germed and planted at the same time, same container same dirt....two are half the size of the other two...gonna clone the tops off all of them to make sure they are really femms.

ok so today i was doing a bit of lst, after tieing down all the branches on one of the plants I noticed that the was some tearing right where the branch meets the main stock, its probably torn about 50% into the joint on two of the branches (silly billy) the tops of the branches are still turning up to the light but im wondering should I just completely untie them and tape them back up or just let it heal itself, kinda looks like when you tear the back of the branch when you supercrop a little to hard. :/

one thing iv'e noticed is my plants are most pliable just before watering, i notice how much more they sway under the fan, maybe could help when you LST . Hope ypur stem heals ok too. Did you tape ?

I just left it, seems like they are doing ok now, the wounds are still open but they just lifted themselves back up again and feel as strong as ever??? weird? super cropped the tops of two of them, felt the snap inside, they lay over, came back that night and they where up at the light again, I'm starting to think its the liquid silicon I'm using that's beefing up the stocks that's looking after the branches

They can take a loooot depending on strain but overall the plants can take abuse plenty. If my canopy gets uneven like if I forget to rotate pots for a week or so I have been known to just bend the high tops and lay them over lol no tape or anything.
