Leaf Problem (includes picture)

I'd like some thoughts from the forum about what could be ailing my plant. If you take a look at the picture you'll notice yellow patches and a few deformed leaves. Below are the details about the grow.

Plant details:
  • 2 weeks old (strain ww)
  • Growing in Happy Frog soil (topped off with 1/4 in. of organic compost)
  • Water 4-5 times per day with a spray bottle (has some carbonaded water mixed in to help with CO2)
  • Temp 72-75 degrees
  • Humidity 40%
  • Have a fan blowing over plants for air circulation
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks, I've flushed the container with purified water and will not use that anymore. What is the best way to test PH in soil? Is there a particular tester/ meter you would recommend?

I had some mutants like that! They looked all fucked up! Sometimes they straighten out sometimes they dont! That is why you should always start a couple seeds. Later

Basic soil ph test kits can be found at garden centers and pretty much anywhere with a gardening section. Feeding it tap water will change the ph to around 7 though depending on your water source which should iron that out. Don't over water them though as they'll just rot or you'll get insect/mould problems.

Dont worry too much I have had seedling look like that. I ussually let them grow out an the next set of leaves should be fine

yep leaf twist indicates ph problem or mg. deficiency i think. Does not look to bad. I have also had similar foliage.

Looks like my PH was acidic after all. I tested the bottled water and organic compost I was using. Both were acidic.

I switched back to happy frog and I'm now watering with distilled water instead. The PH is looking good.

Thanks!
