Leaf tips - too much light

Started week 3 of flower.
Pics are of my tops

Running current culture dwc
Following their nute schedule so shouldn't be nute burn
Plants are eating 120 ppm daily
Drinking 4 gallons water daily
PH has sat at 5.8 for 10 days and not moved at all. Blue labs monitor calibrated.

Plants have stretched to about 18-24" from the light....

I'm thinking light too strong.

Thoughts

It's due to you giving them to strong of nutes ease up a little if you want

oncoming deficiencies coming soon due to nute lockout.

i'd flush for 24hrs with 0 ppm water and then start back on 1/2 whatever you were feeding them

use your EC meter to feed them, not a company that has no idea of what your situation is.

I agree I usually start low and work way up accordingly to how the plant reacts

i learned the hard way a long time ago. you have about a 3% chance to underfeed a plnat in dwc and about 97% to overfeed them.

I just changed the water lol
So right now the ppm is 820 (700 scale) or EC 1.6

So if they drink down to 700 tonight it'll be 1.4

Where should I be?

just think about that for a second and you'll see my point.

they are eating 0.2 per day. why are feeding them at 8 times what they eat??? feed them at something like 0.6EC and top off daily with nute water at 0.6EC. end of 7 or 10days, dump and start again.

Ok so let them eat down to .6 and keep it at .6?
I mean I came here for advice...so I ll take it but...
Just everywhere I read whether it's Current culture website or other websites they all day to keep nutes up that high....why?

i grow in DTW waterfarms where i feed them daily. i'm at 0.7EC with 0.2 of that my well water. they are in full veg right now so they get 250 ppms per day.

i don't make money selling you nutes. see the difference?

you gave me all the proof you should need. they only eat 0.2 per day. they have plenty more right? if they wanted to eat 1 EC per day , they could right? but they don't.

This is spot on since not every plant takes nutes the same some are light feeders some are heavy they cant tell the difference or even your environment that could also effect the uptake

Prime example I have a lava cake #11 that didn't like the ec I was giving her but the meat breath was loving it so was the slurricane and that was at half of what was recommended by canna

Start low and learn to read your plants

Yeah i dont exactly agree with the above info....

If your plants are drinking and the pH is staying the same that tells you your at the perfect balance point. And also suggesting to flush a UC system with straight water is ridiculous. That's going to fuck things even worse. Straight water is for soil.

Suggesting that the plants only need .2 Ec because thats what they are uptaking? yeah okay.... If that's the case than your going to be needing to do a system change every 2 days. He's in UC not DTW so. I run UC, end of second week of flower and im at 800 ppm in the systems and 1100 in my top offs at 5.4 pH to steer the systems. My plants eat 80 - 100 ppm a day right now and drink 4 gallons. Does that mean that I'm only going to keep 100 - 200 in my systems? fuck no.

You run 450ppm in these systems with clones ffs. Its no secret that everyone who runs a CC system or a DIY knows that CC's ppms are low.

How about someone asks what the guy is using for light and what the temps are...

yeah, wrong. leaf margins are dark green, interiors show a Mg defic already.

by the time you finish your joint, these plants are in bad shape right during bud formation.
