Im five weeks into a 9 week finishing plant (afghan kush ryder) testing the super soil on the autoflwering strains a little bit why not.. i have 3 easy ryders 1 la diva 1 afghan kush ryder in a 2,7 -2,7 tent. They are all in 3 gallon pots right now and are growing out of control! My guesses are too much growth for the space...no cal mag in the ro water...i dunno what the problem is but the fan leaves are all dying away. The plant is obviously feeding off its own fan leaves. I have no pics but could I maybe get some guesses?

yeah, sometimes my heavy feeders run out of umph in 5 gallons too. 7 gallon is where its at if you have the floor space

if you have a couple inches at the top of your container, add a layer of super soilon top and water

Sorry Sub, but I'm going to have to disagree. For an auto flower, 3 gallons is pretty big and auto flowers are known to be light feeders. My guess is that the EC in your soil is too high and it can't adequately take up water. Causing your leaves to curl upward as it tries to conserve all the moisture it can and your fan leaves to brown as the moisture is drawn out of them.

But like I said, this is definitely just a guess.

What did the plants look like for the first 5 weeks? if the soil was too hot you would have known right away. Leaves claw downward from too much hot, Lower Fan leaves would be really dark. I use s.s with r.o., rarely add cal mag and have no problems. Take some pics. Check the ec of your run-off to be sure. Try top dressing one and comparing it to the others as a control. How long did your autos veg before they switched? I am inclined to agree with sub, rootbound and hungry ladies.

Im definantly checking my ec my next feeding. The worst of them all is my afghan kush which is a 9 week finisher. All my ladies showed signs of pre sexing around a week and a half after breaking ground. They were all flawless until about 4 weeks in and then slowley the problems have progressed. My 3 easy ryders are lookin super great but the la diva and afghan kush ryder are not doing so well. Ill top dress my afghan kush and see how the results vary. Thx again dudes for the input and dedication! Sub dude I know your not into autos but damn my easy ryders look better than the breeder pictures from the joint doctor! KISS is what I live by now! Keep it simple stupid. Happy grows!

Max on Most auto is like 80cm ,unless its like a iranian ,so 3 gal pot shouldnt be a problem,I do know from growing at least a dozen or so autos and reading around ,that they are sensitive to nutes !!and there a strange breed. So i will not try to tell you how to fix but some pics could help someone that realy knows autos, are the fringe of leaves spikey??Thats what i get like every time as soon as i use initial first light feeding at 3 weeks,to much water?!so i let it dry out takes like 3 weeks !!lol dont know with them auto's will be subbed for a good answer!lol...peace and bong hits for all
And sub...love them jilly beans!!

it's hard for me to believe people have problems with small pots and supersoil, my 1 gallons do just fine. Every situation is different though

Common...autoflowers in super soil? It is cool that you are trying it but when it has been reported and posted many (many, many, many) times that sub doesn't fuck with autoflowers...how could you expect them to perform well in the soil?

If I ran autoflowers in SS...I'd cut the shit out of the soil like 1/3 SS to regular
