so i put a feminized ppp straight into a cup of soil and it popped its head over in about 24 hours-pretty quick. When I went to check on em after coming from the movies the two little starter leaves were and are still drooping and the second set of leaves are very tiny.
any input would be great, oh yea and im using a 400 hps which im using all the way.
thanks alot

If your vegging those little babies under 400w hps its going to be a bit much for them. Its do able but you want to go with something less intense when there that small and weak. veg them to about 10" under some flourecents or cfl's. That might be your drooping problem. How much water? the ight may be drying them out faster than you think. whatever the plants dont eat the light will.

^ yeah, save the HPS for flowering..
& use the other daylights from your last grow for vegging..
it would be better safer than sorry eh? lol

EDIT: the first 2 sets of leaves will be fine though, no need to worry about those ;)

^ i mean i never said it wasn't possible
but, if you wish to experiment with the HPS it's cool
we just thought it would be best for flowering (which it is)
also re-assuring that you know how much heat they put off
you don't want your leaves getting all burnt to crisp ;)

other than that, good luck man :D

but the sun hits baby plants in wildlife with alot of fucking lumens too so why would it be too much light for mine? Ive got temps at about 27 degrees celcius and the little girl is doing fine......

i didn't say it would be too much light..
i'm just saying if you're using an HPS..
you should know, you need good airflow & circulation..
along with an intake & outtake.. to keep the airflow clean..
rather than really humid like a sauna, they need to breathe..
that can kill your plants or slow their growth..
it's more like a 'warning' rather than a disagreement..

& if you can keep good airflow & circulation..
than that's good.. so, like i said.. good luck man :D
