Leaves turning brown

Hi all,

I'm currently a month into my first grow. And a couple of my plants are constantly getting brown spots in the leaves and eventually dying. I have been consistent with the watering and nutrients for all 4 plants but it is only happening to two of them. pH of the soil seems to be around 6 for each plant.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks.IMG_20191120_202309.jpgIMG_20191120_202328.jpgIMG_20191120_202346.jpg

It was a phosphorus deficiency.

I was able to get a nutrient that contained high amounts of calcium magnesium and phosphorus.

It made the feed really acidic so ph correction was in order.

Out of curiosity, you fixed the issue by adding a nutrient with high values of Ca, Mg and P. How did you determine it was a P issue and not a Ca or Mg issue?

I went to the local hydro store asking for calmag. I showed him the same photos and he said it was a phosphorus deficiency. I mentioned that I still wanted to add calmag and something that would increase the phosphorus too. He recommended this stuff. I can say after that there was no more brown leaves and my plants started growing pretty fast. There was some issue with soil pH and a bit of nutrient burn though.

I don't really follow your logic, outside of the grow shop guy telling you P was your problem. Never the less, good on you for solving your issue regardless. Good luck friend.
