My seedling was originally a dark green color. It then turned to a lime green color, and now there are brown tips on its lower leaves, and they are starting to yellow. What could be causing these problems?

Im growing in an organic seed starting mix. Its working well for my other plants. I have cfl for lights, and i water my plants daily, but i dont think i overdo it. Hopefully someone can help me save my plant.

overwatering can cause the color to turn limeish that could be one thing just when u water stick your finger in the soil and see if its dry about 3 in down if it is its time to water also you want to lift up the pot and just kinda weigh it with your hand let it dry out and lift it soo you get a good idea of how heavy it feels when its dry so you can also lift it and tell when it needs water...sorry for such a long reasponse cant spell either

I dont think that i have been overwatering but i will definitely give what you said a try. Thanks for the response.

Every day is definitely too much water. Let the dirt dry out and get a nice crusty top before watering again. Should be every 2-3 days.

So i noticed that my plants seem to be getting worse. I started watering them every other day or so. I also fed them 1/4 strength nutes for the first time. I thought maybe that was the problem but it didnt really seem to help. Some of the leaves are starting to have spotty discoloration, and yellowing. along with some colored spots on the outside, looks grey or brown. Some of the leaves are starting to curl up, and i also noticed that the underside of all the leaves on one plant are purple.

So any ideas as to why my plants are doing this?

Im sorry I am having some similar problems with my plants ...I am also first time grower and I am freaking out a little... it may be over watering? I have been using a soil meter and wait till it is in the dry 2 or 3 area. What I was reading before I thought it was a food or nutrition problem... feed it with a 24-8-16 very small amount . Man this is like one of my kids is sick...please look at my photos and tell me to chill out its going to be ok. Thanks to all the cool people on here I have learned so much. I plan on care taking and helping people the rest of my life...again many thanks.
