I have some *girls* hopefully....

in peat pods awaiting sex to show.. this is prob about the 4th or 5th week and i cant determine sex yet. I plan on moving the peatpod to a DWC unit and that is why such large plants ( 9 inches ) are still growing out of peat pods. I noticed that on most of the plants the bottom leaves are turning yellow then dieing slowly.. and it keeps happening to all of the plants.. and then it moves up and happens to the next set once the bottom dead leaves fall off after turning totally yellow. Is this a lack of nutes? I belive so because ive only been using foxfarm grow big without any bloom nuet support

If pics are needed i can provide.. just not at the moment

Ah thank you. I kind of expected this would be a deficency of some sort. Im fairly positive the big bloom will have the nitrogen necessary to solve this problem.

Does anyone see a problem with keeping plants in peat pods until they are big enough to show sex?

the bloom will have very little nitrogen, you need a veg booster,
like Verde from Humboldt Nutrients, or something of the sort
high in N, not P or K

Verde for example is a 16-1-2 and has many other micro orgs
as well

The answer to your pot question depends on the size of your
plant, you can imagine that the roots will be taking up the
area as your plant does above the ground, so if your plant
is bigger than your pot you should repot

But foxfarm should be able to cover all angles of this with big grow big bloom and tiger bloom.. im guessing im just not useing enough.. to start i was only using 700PPM of big grow every other day to water and reg water inbetween. I nearly doubled the amount of Big grow used now and added big bloom as instructed in my charts. Will the double big grow fix the N deficiency?

I'm not familiar with the fox farm feeding schedule.

You are only feeding with a grow solution? What about
secondary and micro nutrients?

As far as im aware foxfarm 3 part nutes contain everything that is needed in terms of micro and macro nutes.. I also have soluable ferts i will be adding later in the growth stage.. Im almost certain that you can use foxfarm 3 part all the way from seed to bud with no problems or deficiencys if you do it right. Am i not correct>?

Not sure, maybe if Fox farm was specific to cannabis...

I wouldn't exactly trust it to be that reliable... Personally
I would like to have more control of those specific Primary,
Secondary and Micro nutrients...
