Led, Coco, RO. Cal Mg dose?

I have two plants in veg in coco under a 300w advanced DS led, being fed maxibloom @ 1/2 tsp and CALiMAGic @ 1 tsp per gallon every watering. One of the plants has a calcium deficiency and the other one is fine. Both are the same strain but from seed. I understand that you need to use more cal-mg for led, coco, and RO water. How much cal-mg would you recommend for my situation? Also is it possible to over use cal-mg? ie 2 or 3 tsp/gal.

100-150 ppm cal-mag with ro should be fine for coco as long as your not doing anything crazy with the ph. with tap water you might not need it. and yes its possible to over do it with cal-mag same as any other fert.

Ph is always put to 5.8 so im good there. No ppm tester at the moment so not sure what 1 tsp of CALiMAGic comes to. Wish I could use tap but im on some pretty bad well water that runs through a softner. Read some where that you shouldn't use softened water due to the salt.

Yes, measure PPM, and adjust based on that.

My tap is 160ppm, gravity filtered and dechlorinated, is 108-120ppm.

I add CaMg until my PPM is ~225(110-120 base), pH balance, then add the rest of the nutes.

Go with Advanced Nutrients...I have never seen any issue with that...im using 1 year, maybe more...and no need any ph +/- solutions :) just mix it tap or ro water and use it..Easy....
