Ok so you’d probably be happier with mars hydro or similar light nothing wrong with them at all

Look at the fc 6500 or fc 4800 the 4800 is only 480 watts though so I’d opt for the 6500 at 730 watts and dim it down appropriately for different stages of growth…

FC 4800 is $559
FC 6500 is $739

but if I was you I’d get a Black Friday sale since it’s coming up so soon and get a good discount on whatever light you decide on…

but ultimately HLG isn’t that much more and often will give you a discount code if you email them and ask

HLG 600 Rspec is $699 for 600 watts
HLG Blackbird is $749 for 600 watts
HLG 650R is $899 for 650 watts

HLG also does buy now pay later stuff like Affirm if you can get approved so you can make monthly payments like I didn’t have $1500 to spend on a Scorpion Diablo but I’m making monthly payments on it for $75 each month easy peasy to upgrade if your credit history is ok.

Just a few suggestions. Don’t rush buying it you’ll be happy to be patient and getting a discount code vs rushing in and wasting money take it from me I bought a two bar LED by Crecer Lighting it was their panthrx mini II from a buddy for cheap but it wasn’t worth half the MSRP.

Later, I bought an HLG 350R and it knocked my socks off with quality and canopy penetration
so next grow I started, after upsizing my I bought the Scorpion Diablo which is where I’m at today.

The main reason I keep suggesting HLG is their lights are quality, their customer service is top notch, and they offer discount codes all the time. Plus they ship to USA free with UPS and you can add a package protection service for only $10, their only flaw is a bit higher in base price, but the ROI is very quick with HLG lights, the 350R paid for itself in one crop. And I’m sure the Scorpion Diablo will too.

Agree on all points. The HLG is saving us on electricity usage as well due to how efficient their lights are.

6 plants for a 4 x 4 is 2 to many plants, sure you can stuff them in there, but you will hurt your over-all yield! And as for lighting, most people talk about the SPACE, when that shouldn't even be part of the equation because you are trying to grow individual PLANTS, not grow an entire SPACE, silly people!!! Anyhow, that's what makes samsung tech LED(s) awesome, as you can now just focus your lighting at the plant you want to grow in the most efficient way!!! And believe me, if you fix your thinking, you will learn rather quickly, that you can actually grow a huge producing plant using a lot diodes and just 80 watts of power using samsung tech LED(s)!!!

But to maximise yield your filling an entire space , hence why we talk about space, because we assume people want to maximise their grow.

Also 6 plans isn't too many. You can grow 64 plants and get the same as 4 plants or 1 plant, because its about grams per square foot of area lit.
