Keep ,taking ideas from the hi-fi/hi-end audio industry ....

Roll-bars ....
.....
Either the round chromed ones ..
Or sturdy lightweight plastic ones ( ABS tool grade plastic maybe ... )
.......

The central grill is redundant, imo. It will see very little air flow from what I can gather. Is this to hide/protect the internal wiring w/o locking in driver produced heat?

Really liking the design, but +1 for a remote driver box.

Maybe it is redundant..
(The central vent/grill ...) ...
But still ...
Maybe you';re right ...
(Where is Guod ? )

.....

From the other hand ,having already remote-driver led system ,I'd rather go for a more "compact " system now ...

Thing is to isolate the drivers (their heat ,actually ..) .,from interacting with leds heat/cooling ....

This panel features ,kinda two-levels ..two " floors " ....
Heatsink/fan is lower from driver compartment with it's own air circulation ...
There's not much air pressure in drivers " room" ....
That's why plenty of venting ,having drivers" breathe air &
sticking out of the hood " and attaching them to alum angles (heat conducted ..) ....

I want this to be as compact as possible ,powerful and really efficient ....

Maybe all these are doable ....

Anyway .....
Thank you , for the good advice and opinion !

Oh .....Common .....

What do you think ....?

Any stupid faults there ?
Thermal management ? Seems right to you ?

Please-please-please....kiss-ass.....
Share some knowledge & opinion there ....

Side walls of top cover to increase air pressure , pushing air downwards to fins ....
(turbulence here is a good thing ...)
.....
Taking measures ....

measuring for side walls of top cover.jpg
an angle of 25x25x3 will do .....

Driver box ?
Can explain a bit more ..
( I'll try to upload the model of the driver ....)

Edit : Model uploaded ...(MeanWell APC 30-350 driver box/pack )

Driver box ?
that thing between the two Heatsinks with all driver, switches, etc in it
and i need the complete model, not the driver

kicking out some parts for easier handling

proto.jpgproto1.jpg

putting the driver-Box deeper then the heatsink(Stand)
switches now on the frontside, fuses on the other side
drivers are now complete in the airflow

I wanna see the guts ....

Looks ....Hmmm....
Handle can be really handy ,there ....
(coupled with easy -rollers ....WOW .... )

I like it !

Still I want an xray of it and a look inside ....under the hood ...

Ok...
See the circuit ....
Circuit of panel (per heatsink 2x modules ).jpg
Any comments there ?
(I'm not in any way experienced with el. wiring ....So ...A second advise ,would be helpful ....
Thank you ....

(P.S.:Where is the other three switches ? Four modules of leds ....By one switch ?
Then a dimmer would be nice there ....from 350 mA to 550-600mA( " limited " ....up to those rpm ....) ,is just perfect ..)

Edit:
Another driver option is this .....

http://www.meanwell.com/search/pcd-40/default.htm

Which can be dimmed ,with a TRIAC dimmer ....
( Can the PCD-40 -500-B ,be used with 24 x SSLs ( 4x reds HLs ) ? )

But it has other Dims ...
I'll model it ,also .....

Hmmm..Way ' slim ' design ....(your's ,brother Guod ...)
I like it more and more as I keep watching at it ...
Space for the stupid fan psu is what worries me ....

Where is the other three switches
as i say, i kick them out for faster work. only to show up the idea

i better not comment this schematic, you know my strange humor

one point to the solid state relais
there is a little LED inside the SSR (Optocoupler). you have to limit the current at about 10 to 50mA.
the fan(100mA) will kill this led.

Then a dimmer would be nice there ....from 350 mA to 550-600mA
the voltage of your LED-modules are very high, hard too find drivers for them i run in the them problem with my modules a year ago

here is one

Just do it ...I want to learn something from my faults ...
(OH..the spelling ....That stupid CS 4 ,doesn't type exactly as a ..fast ..keyboard 'commands'
....double letters ....two hits ,one typed ... "togle" .."curent" ...)

So ...if a small resistor is put before the SSR ?
Wouldn't that limit the current ?

Circuit of panel (per heatsink 2x modules ) 2.jpg

Common' ..What other is wrong there ?
The fuse ?
(Way great driver there from Philip the Man ! )

Maybe I should have placed the drivers parallel to heatsink fins ,to allow for better air circulation ,inside the electronics compartment ....
But ...
Yes ......where is he ,when needed most ?
I am wondering what the coverage will be under that wide dead space.

Could you stack 2 of the drivers on a second shelf (or maybe a single vertical stack, which would really reduce the space between the engines, thereby cutting the empty width to almost nothing?

Also this just in U of GA creates first WW
