LED Grow Room Setup Questions

Greetings Rollitup Community!

I am a newbie grower and after days of research, I've decided to use LEDs for my first time!

I've purchased:

2x 100-watt blackstar LEDS

http://www.amazon.co...0?ie=UTF8&psc=1

(Best for your buck according to many reviews? Looks good so I purchased it anyways.)

Mylar film

http://www.amazon.co...0?ie=UTF8&psc=1

4-inch inline fan (exhaust)

http://www.amazon.co...0?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Carbon filter will be homemade.

1x 12v PC Fan for the intake

I've constructed a 2L x 1.5W x 4H grow closet with plyboard that will house 2 cannabis plants. However, I am still unsure if the light is sufficient for my setup and if it is more efficient to grow 1, 2 or 3 plants in this medium. Still deciding how many Gallons per smartpot for efficient grow in this setup.

Any opinions, comments or suggestions? Help would be greatly appreciated for the inexperienced like me! Thanks!

(Will be posting pictures when equipment has arrived and been assembled!)

those LED will be fine for flowering.....but they are off for veggie not enough blue
this will cause your plant to be stretchy and will most likely lower your over all totals in the

as for your place u are going for it did u account for the amount of room the planters take up plus the room u need to have the lights away from the plants ......your looking at a total of 24 inches only for plant growth so u might want to learn SCRoG or low stress training

your going to need more intake air then a 12 volt pc fan can do a 4 inch inline fan is 170 cfm no pc fan is that fast that i know of ..........a powered intake u want to match it as close to the exhaust as u can .......for a passive intake u need double the size of the exhaust fan so a 4 inch fan i need a 8x8 hole to allow air in

If i had a pc fan w/ carbon filter for the exhaust and the 4 inch for the intake, would it be okay? do we want a passive intake?

well i am not sure how u are going to build your filter

i know a method of using these
http://www.amazon.com/Activated-Carbon-filter-refill-pads/dp/B003ZKMFYG
u just cut it and make the wind blow tho it it does not kill 100% of it but alot of it

as for passive intake ........it can work but u need to keep the intake temps low like 60/63f ( the temp inside will jump 11 degrees or so to around 71 75 ) want to keep the air inside around the plant under 80f..........at 80f thc degrades at a faster rate ( the clear ones go milky faster and the milky ones go amber faster .....so u end up with couch locking smoke from all the amber tricromes )

if u do go passive and notice u have a issue ........u can try using a 6 inch clip on fan
http://www.amazon.com/Lasko-2004W-2-Speed-6-Inch-White/dp/B00FXOFO7W
set that outside the box and have it right next to the passive intake to blow in .............other wise u would need to match it with a 4 inch booster fan

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MH53UYY/sr=1-4/qid=1417895860
that is a 4 inch can booster fan with 5 blade fan metal ...........it does 100 cfm ......the blades are metal so they last longer and if any bug goes tho it chopped up instead of just stunned with plastic fans )
