i have been growing with leds for about 2 years now. i also grow with hps. i am at the point now that i can match watt for watt what an hps can do. i have used many leds over the years and they are worse then I phones. about every 6 months there is a newer better replacement. led technology is constantly improving. i have used kessils, hydro grow, spectra, illumitex, advanced, grow goddess, and black star chromes. i really like the chromes for bang for the buck up until my recent experiment. i tend to stray away from most things canna related. it seems as though everything related to the canna industry is overpriced. i finaly decided to experiment with an led that has nothing to do with the growing industry. i went on alibaba and searched for high bay led lights. these are used in gymnasiums, warehouses, and commercial buildings. this is the light i got. i ordered it from http://www.gielight.com with a 2700k cree led. its a 200 watt model and i paid 438 with shipping to the states. i am no lighting expert by any means just a grower. this light by far blew away any other led i have ever used for the money. i put the light under one plant. the plant is an indica called teal cali blue. it was bought as a clone and flowered at 5 inches. i grow very simple. roots organic soil. i use r/o water that i bring up to 50 ppm with calimajic then add 1 ml/gal of protekt, then i bring total ppms up to 800 with foliage pro and add a dash of liquid seaweed. needless to say i am impressed. i accidently erased a full shot of the plant before trimming. it stood about 28 inches tall and about 30 inches wide
