A very clean process and perfectly documented.

Is that a Fire Suppression System? That is a first. Brilliant.

Thanks for sharing,

Thanks for noticing! Yep it's an automatic extinguisher (shoots when temps reach 150 degrees F I believe)...I feel it's more than worth the investment and all growers should have one..could be used in a laundry room or wherever when not used for growing. The brand I got is The Watch Dog.

Day 57 (Day 1 of FLOWER!) Update 12/18/2015

Started 12/12, these are some pics right before the switch...Some quick growth in my opinion just within these past few days. They're already touching the walls. I know the plants may double or even triple in size. I'm not sure if this will be a problem as I've never ran into this issue before (unfortunately). I took out the 105-watt 6500k CFL and replaced it will just 78 watts of 2700k until our 2nd LED set comes in. Also, I'm sorry for all the pink/purple LED-lit pics..I will turn on normal lights and take some pics for the next update!

Will the plants touching the walls during flower negatively affect anything? Should I get screens to border between the walls and plants? Any advice is appreciated.

I doubt your problems had anything to do with the lights being too close. I've had one of the 300w Mars panels 15cm from plants and it didn't even bleach. Most likely just a basic nutrient deficiency, hard to believe a single powder nutrient could work well with cannabis. I never had perfect plants with Lucas formula.

Also, you're not using 1200w, more likely 500 - 600w.

Been awhile since I updated, I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year holiday.

Day 94 (Day 38 of FLOWER) Update 01/24/2016:

Had some changes to the original plan...My buddy was not able to get a bigger tent and lights so I'm going to be flowering with only 600 watts (~300 true wattage) of LED plus 50w CFL instead of the 1200w I mentioned in my intro post. I know I wont get the best yield but oh well, it's all for personal use anyway...the next grow I'll double it up for sure.

Another problem I ran into were those dreaded spider mites after I found white spots on a lot of the lower leaves! I believe I have killed most of them off with Captain Jack's Dead Bug Brew (organic spinosad) along with some insecticidal soap, but I'll continue to spray every couple days in case of any eggs...I also placed squares of construction paper slathered with TangleFoot near the bases of the main stem which have caught quite a few mites.

I haven't watered in a few days but going to water today after work with the usual Maxibloom and also going to introduce molasses for the next couple weeks, followed by a 10-day flush of just water, then chop! Anyways, enjoy some pics..the nugs are dense/compact but not the biggest, but I'll be happy if I can get a few oz's from all of this. :joint:
